  • So informative!!

This app is easy to use no matter when I snap a photo of birds — I can go back to those photos from the app and find out all about each bird! I use it almost everyday!
  • Good app - if you’re quick

By the time I could zoom in and get it focused, frequently the bird had moved or flown off. Without getting a good, clear shot the info given was incorrect. Multiple shots sometimes resulted in multiple results. I’m sure of this because I tested it on birds I know first. Funny note - one shot the bird flew off causing me to capture a chipmunk that was behind it instead. Came up as a wren. Clever disguise, little wren. 😉

  • Quick &easy

I’ve only used this a short while but am very happy so far. Since I always have my phone with me, it’s a quick and accurate way to identify birds.
  • I love being able to identify the birds at my feeders!

I live in N Idaho and I have a large variety of birds that come to my feeders. It changes with the seasons and from year to year. I’ve loved feeding the birds and now I can properly identify them. One of my favorite parts of this app is the information about the birds. I know what they like to eat, nesting preferences and when to start leaving my hummingbird feeders out. Very helpful!

  • I love this app!

This app is spot on when identifying various birds. I love taking photos while walking thru the preserves or even at home. It's especially helpful when we're walking and I'm not sure what I'm looking at. This app solves the problem. I also love that this is done all by the free version! Thanks for developing this app.!

  • The coolest app

I am in love with this app! We have a little bird feeder set up outside and now I know all the birds coming to visit ♥️ I can screenshot videos and upload the pic and figure out what kind of bird it is! I haven’t come across a bird it doesn’t recognize yet. Super super cool!
  • So many birds!

I live down the street from a state park in Southern California. On my way to it (1/4 mile walk) I usually see 10 different species. Orioles and doves nest in our backyard and multiple hummingbird species dive bomb each other for a seat at the plastic feeders on our front porch. This app helps me catalog all of them as well as identifying exactly what it is I’m taking pictures of. I’ve learned so much and the app has transformed simply walking my dog into genuine treasure hunt. Thanks!

  • I do not understand why this app does not employ location technology

I am using the app with Sibley Bird book and of course location is a central piece of narrowing choices. Since so many apps use location services for no apparent reason, why doesn’t this app which would benefit so much. I am also confused as to why some birds do not even have a photo. That does not strike me as a finished product or something that you can ask money for. I’m using it for fun but definitely seeing major shortcomings along the path which seem easily fixable by developers.

  • Very Good App

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying the ability to identify the various birds in my backyard with this app. Initially I was apprehensive when I saw the annual cost. However after using it for the past few days I can truly say it’s worth every penny. It has been spot on!
  • Two out of sixteen birds identified correctly

It is challenging to get close enough to get a big picture of wild birds, so I am discounting the error rate a bit. However, I am a Florida resident and this app keeps suggesting that my photos are of Australian and New Zealand birds. For example , type of ibis with its distinctive beak was identified as a black swan. A red wing black bird with the wing color clearly showing was also mis-identified. That one should have been easy. It also identified similar pictures of the same bird as different birds. I was looking for an app that could help me identify the tougher ones but tested it out on species I knew. Very disappointed!
