Awful user unfriendly product
With all the negativity reviews of this app, you would think that KENWOOD would put some effort into fixing it, it has to be affecting the marketing of the cameras, I would not have purchased a KENWOOD camera had I known about the problem accessing the data in it.
Also, when downloading the KENWOOD video viewer, the message “don’t run this program as it could damage your computer “!!

Total garbage. Don’t buy a Kenwood Dash Cam. It will not connect to my phone or tablet.
The only way to view the video is to remove the card and plug it into my computer; Stone Age, only one up from painting pictures of vehicles onto the wall of a cave🫤

This app is absolute rubbish. It has completely stopped working and has now rendered my dashcam useless. Sort it out Kenwood.
Don’t buy Kenwood
I bought a Kenwood dash camera 2 days ago, did all the steps to connect to my phone and even looked up their how to connect on you tube and all I get …..loading,loading. Let sit for 30 minutes and never connected.
Garbage app
The app was already difficult to use, but the update has made it even worse. It has deleted my previous saved videos. Dashcam turns off as soon as I connect via wireless. I have to go through the initial set up every time I turn on my car. And of course, no customer service to call.
Worst app ever
I don’t know who was the idiot that messed with this app but nothing works. Don’t by this dash camera because the app makes it inoperable. Videos won’t download, customer off for no reason when trying to access files. This is a very poor, pathetic excuse of a app.. I expect KENWOOD to do better than this. The people that made the update should be fired, very poor quality

App crashes
I connect my phone to the camera, as soon as I go back into app everything crashes. Being able to get video files out should not be that hard, would give 0 stars.
Latest update is terrible
The latest update broke everything. Text is too big, dashcam won’t record through the app, won’t save videos. While downloading recorded footage, the dashcam will restart cancelling the download. Saved files aren’t available anymore. Please fix this asap or reverse it to the previous version!
Horrible UI
This app has the worst UI I have ever experienced. It is nearly impossible to connect to and view videos on the dash cam.
