I’ve used Onsong for the last 12 years. Songbookpro is like the old OnSong which had all the right features but has now become too expensive. One of the best features of SongbookPro is how it automatically load songs directly from the Internet no editing required truly awesome. This is honestly the best value song organising software available today! For the price, it can’t be beaten.
It has a couple of small glitches that I hope the designers will sort out (sometimes when you edit a song, it doesn’t save the edits) but apart from that, I think it’s great!Worlds Worst Musician
LOVE LOVE LOVE this app
I’ve gotten at least 7 or 8 people to buy SongbookPro and we all LOVE it. I’ve shared my entire library with everyone in minutes. SUPER easy (after an initial learning curve). I sync 3 devices so when one loses battery another works.
3 SUGGESTIONS:
1. Somehow move the SCROLL ADJUSTING function so it can be adjusted on the fly WHILE in use.
2. Make it so the SPACING of the saved edits match the spaces in Editing mode meaning spaces on each line and spaces between lines. It keeps closing up spaces I intentionally include.
3. CHANGE NASHVILLE NUMBERING to correctly use Roman Numerals for the chord key then Arabics for the chord versions. Using Arabic numerals for every digit don’t work at all b/c, for example, a “V7” chord canNOT be represented by a “57”. It just doesn’t work.
Having made those suggestions I still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything else about SongbookPro. 697 songs and adding more all the time. SO fun and useful!Show lessKAR1985
Switched to Songbook Pro and no regrets
I used another app for years to keep track of all my charts (starts with an “O”) but it has become totally unreliable. I am very impressed with Songbook Pro. It is very functional with many great features. A couple things I would like to see… sticky notes that would stay on the song page and more functional arrangement options. Love this app!
This has made my life so easy pulling songs together, changing chords, setting lists and so much easier to use while playing music so I’m not having to read sheets or flip pages! Also, you can zoom in if the words aren’t big enough to see and it will keep the words at that size for you in set!MadMelAnders
Excellent Digital Songbook
As all my younger musician friends are using digital songbooks and I was still struggling with an A4 box file ,I decided to do something about it . I did some research and read the ratings and decided to try SongbookPro . After reading the documentation and trying out its features for a few hours I decided to buy the full version .
I have not been disappointed , I was able to download all my songs from the websites that were compatible with SBP and compare each one with my copy, easily editing the chords if necessary .
I completed 60+ songs in only an afternoon . There are lots of comments about the features of this app on the reviews so I don’t need to go into every detail . All I can say it it is very easy to use and thank you so much for this product .

Have been using SongbookPro for a while now and find it has everything i need and is easy to navigate, save sets and flick thru songs even while playing. I like being able to scribble notes wherever, unfortunately they don’t print, but are easily saved. Would recommend this program over others for that reason alone.Show lessCookstours
Cheap. Simple. Intuitive. But…
I’ve been using Lyric Pad for years but I hated the convoluted layout so I’ve been looking an alternative program that’s cheap and easy to use. SongbookPro is clean, simple and intuitive (except for the lyrics edit window which is small and messy on my iPhone). I just wish there was a progression bar for the backing tracks at the bottom, like Lyric Pad, and a “search” field in the manual.Show lessxynickz
Intuitive and easy to get going right away
Superb software, so intuitive and easy to use. I was able to load 50 songs and organise into 5 set lists without having to read the documentation. The computer link is awesome and saves so much time, and to my surprise, even worked with my Linux computer.pjsheppo
SONG BOOK PRO
This is by far the best lyrics app for musicians and singers. I had On Song for years until it crashed and now they want a regular subscription. Not from me. I tried several other inferior apps then I found Song Book Pro to be much better than On Song and much more reliable, it will import On Song lyrics from the cloud and works well with a remote page turner too. My only gripe was after manually writing all the lyrics of Gentle On My Mind, (a long song) they disappeared, maybe because I hadn’t given it a signature key, because I wasn’t sure which key I was going to sing it in.
