Hi I have
been using an app called ON SONG it was fine at first then I started getting loads of bugs and the people at on song just take far to long to fix most of the issues., I got so frustrated with it and decided to look for another App. My friend told me about SONGBOOK PRO so I gave it a try and I’ve got to say I was completely amazed I thought because SONGBOOK PRO was cheaper it wouldn’t be as good, I’ve had it for months so all I’m going to say on this review is GOOD BYE on song and HELLO SONGBOOK PRO.
PS and guess what songbook pro is much better and it’s cheaper to. I’ve cancelled my subscription with on song and all my frustration has gone.

Great software
I love this software. I love that I am able to takeit across platforms and update from iPhone to a Window’s PC and vice versa. Getting music i to it is super easy and being able to pull from Ultimate Guitar makes it so great; Especially when you need to adjust a few chords here and there ;). Also, creating my set-lists and keeping all of my music organized and ready to go. Printing from the software works great too! I can’t recommend this enough. Songbook Pro is the Best!!!
I would say that Song Book Pro is the Best program I have ever
used to Play the chords and see the words playing in my band! The scrolling part is so awesome!! Also, I can look up and download songs in a mere matter of minutes!! I can change the chords of the song, and write my own songs with lyrics and chords!!

Love it
This app has made my music life so much easier. Downloading new tabs is a breeze. I also write my own songs and use the app to catalog them all. Being able to create different set lists is helpful keep me organized. I have my solo gigs separated from my bands bar playlists and weddings, etc. I would recommend the app. Extremely helpful.Show lessgreenoliveyuk
Well worth the money
I have really enjoyed using this program and I’ve been very surprised at the features it contains and now I would be lost without it especially during my teaching sessions. I gave it five stars although it does have a couple of small glitches. Every once in a while the program will shut down for some reason and I have found that quite large files, like a book of music, will shut down the program as soon as the file opens. The only other issue is that any notations you make in a piece of music do not follow the music if you change orientation by going from portrait to landscape.Show lessbadbrummie
No more paper!
Great piece of software at an amazing price! No more dog eared bits of sheet music falling off the music stand when someone walks by, or when the wind blows.
I particularly like the auto scroll and the ability to change key in seconds.
A suggested improvement would be the ability to cut and paste text into the song creation area when a song is not available in ‘Search online’.
All in all though I love this app and can’t recommend it highly enough!Show lesspannell3027
My review of songbook pro
Hi I’ve been using songbook pro for about 6 months now & find the program very easy to use. I set up songs on my pc & using the manager I upload them to the app & place the song in the relevant directory which are easy to set up. Songbook pro has a back up system which is good for backing up your catalogue. Recently I purchased a Bluetooth foot pedal which is great as I can slide pages up & down & move to the next song. This is a fantastic aid! Len

Nice App, Room for improvement though
I’m coming from the free version of Songbook so I paid for this one expecting it to be a lot more refined. I converted all of my songs over to Pro and I immediately ran into some ergonomic issues. There is no way to edit or add chords outside of entering the chord in the song file. Then, the software picks the default chord shape which is sometimes not the chord I want to play. It also does not show all the chords at one time, just a few until it runs out of space. The auto scroll feature starts as soon as you open the file. It should start scrolling on the song start and stop scrolling when the song ends. Sometimes the software will lose the link between the song associated with the display, requiring a re-link. There are perhaps a few others, but these are the ones that stick out the most.Show lessTenkisan
Very Impressed
I have used a well known music app for years but recently found the bugs were driving me insane. So I decided to search for another app. After trying, and buying, several apps I have decided this is one is the best by far.
It could do with a few improvements just to make life easier and I’ll be suggesting some things using the facility from within the app itself to do just that.
I run a music group and have already started to suggest this app to the members of the group.

Extremely useful
SongbookPro gives me everything I need in a chart display, with many user options for displaying and organizing. And the ease of adding new songs is great, quick and easy. Easy to edit charts too. Due caution is recommended though because the source charts are simply user submissions from ultimate guitar. Accuracy varies.
The only suggestion I’d have for improvement would be a batch download capability, where you could select several songs of a given performer for example, and download them all at once instead of returning to the search for each individual song.
But the ability to have all of my music and lyrics at my fingertips for display is fabulous.Show less20oti
