Best App I’ve Ever Got
I have been using SongbookPro for about a year and a half now. I have it on my iPhone and am able to think of a song and within moments have the music on my screen. I have this synced with my 10 inch tablet I use for practice and performance. No more turning pages as it scrolls to whatever speed you want. If a new song comes into my brain, I can write it out with chords and easily change the whole key with one touch. I can share with my band members with a touch. I can easily change the graphics on the screen to make it look easy for me to see. I like a black background with white letters and orange chords. This can be easily seen in a darkened room without glare when attached to the mic stand. I can make Setlist at a touch and go from song to song with a swipe on the screen. My phone goes everywhere with me all the time and I always have my complete music with me at all times. Best thing ever!! DanShow lessEmerald Dan
This is a must have!
I have played in bands for let’s just say 30+ years to be nice. I am old-school, and I have used notebooks with printed out song lists as well as handwritten. SongbookPro is the most awesome thing I have seen made available for practicing musicians, gigging musicians, and even professionals! It seems they have thought of pretty much everything when it comes to what you need to make music. Greatly increases the learning process with scrolling pages, lyrics and chord changes at your fingertips. There is a free version of this to download, but I would suggest just to go ahead and get the full-blown, lifetime license for this app. Doesn’t cost any more than a hamburger anymore! We use this to try out new songs and build sets. The internet search for a recorded version and the built in metronome are nice features. The ability to change the key of any piece is terrific. The variety of songs available is impressive, and includes some niche music, however we were surprised to find sone fairly well known songs missing from the library. The offering of multiple versions of the song is interesting, but a better way to identify what is unique about an offered version needs to be developed. The process for setting the metronome for the right tempo should be improved. The process for exporting sets is awkward. No improvements needed for me..does everything.
Easy to import my cumbersome files into it. But soon found that I could find lyrics and chords easily with the search net function,and then edit them with the main headings to make it stand out with a different colours etc. and it was very easy to change the key up for a female vocalist for instance. I have never been tempted to write a review for an app before, but this was so well designed that I had to. It it simple, has all the features you need and you can trust it for a performance. Importing songs is easy from a number of popular sources and you can easily edit and change keys etc. You can organise a set, check timings etc. Love it.Show lessMaths Teacher2020

I have been using this now for 6 months and has never given me any grief. I have found you have to add a word document to get the key/capo change function to work. Once I got that sussed its a doddle. I have it both on my iPad and iPhone and with the the cloud backup and quick action function your away with complete flexibility. Good job.Show lesswings8strings
First Rate Song Practice and Performing App
This is a superb App, easy to use being very intuitive, I wish I had discovered it sooner. Its great for Guitar Practice and Performing, accepts backing tracks and songs lyrics and chords with ease. Also easy to add notes and highlights. It is great value with a one time purchase, not like similar Apps that require expensive monthly costs which I will not entertain. This is absolutely fantastic! I love the fact that I can easily find songs, import them immediately and have them formatted clearly for easy playing. The ability to add a capo setting or change key is so helpful I also appreciate that it is a once off fee rather than yet another subscription This has clearly been designed by musicians with musicians in mind. Thank you Only feature I would really like to add is auto alphabet title ordering in the playlist selections. These are arranged by most recently imported in the version I have got and can’t seem to easily rearrange, unless I’ve missed something Minor issue Great app! Keep it up Andrew BlockShow lessblockie1
Must-have app, great price
SongbookPro is indispensable to my music life. I use it to find and create chord charts with lyrics. It takes just a bit of a learning curve to completely dial in your charts however you want them, transpose to any key, and export to pdf if preferred. It’s got other features such as metronome, adding notes or comments via text or drawing, managing your song lists on tablet or computer. There is a scrolling feature that I don’t use but it looks really functional. The free trial option is a great place to start. I upgraded to the full version once I saw how useful and reasonably priced ($6.99- amazing) this app is.Show lesssqueezedude
