  • Superior Product

I didn't play for 30 years and luckily ran into Positive Grid. There's a bit of a learning curve. I have BIAS Head 600 Watt that I use with a RJM Mastermind, 2 Spark amps, 1 Spark Mini, 3 pedals and BIAS FX Elite all-access. I commend buying the top package off the bat. Pricing and initiation into the PG family is a little confusing but no doubt worth it. I use Xsonic Xtone Pro to control but RIFF also worth. I run it through a Headrush FRFR. Sounds amazing--good enough for a pro gig. Join PG Facebook groups and that will supplement the very reasonable customer support. I've never had technical problems with any of their products. The BIAS Distortion pedal is so-so. Everything else is worth it!

  • Great sound and easy to use

Have used this app quite a bit and it hold up nicely!
  • App crashes iPad 9Th Gen

App crashes as soon as you touch the speed button. For video backing tracks
  • Constant ads, never ending MIDI control alert loop

I like the idea of this app, but the constant ads even after lying for the basic package is annoying. Furthermore, when using with an Apogee Duet 3 interface, switching back to the app causes a never ending “MIDI control disabled” alert loop, and I have to unplug the interface to stop it. But once I switch away and come back, that alert keeps looping. Very annoying and reduces the usability of the app severely. Lastly, this does not work with the Duet 3 interface. It shows the channels, but no audio gets into the app. GarageBand works perfectly, so I think the issue is with this app.

  • Positive Grid Must Provide AUV3 Version

The sounds are excellent. However this app is unfortunately offered in the obsolete Inter App Audio format. I have heavily invested in the various packs, both desktop and iOs and am very disappointed that the developers are not maintaining an AUV3 version. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.
  • worked in a pinch

I was away from all of my equipment on a rotation to Germany, but was asked to be apart of several music performances. All that was available was an electric guitar and a couple chords to plug into a PA system. Ordered an iRig2 and tried it with this app. It was more than I could have hoped! The capabilities and capacity in this app gave me so many diverse, quality sounds at my fingertips. Excellent tool to have

  • Beware The Pricing Tier

Great app. Superb tones. Love the looper. That being said, pay close attention to what you are buying. Make sure you will be satisfied with the presets, effects and amps in the package you agree to. Yes, you can always upgrade, but there’s still the initial shock of “this is all I get with the standard package?” And there are separate packages for mobile devices and desktop/laptop units. They do not migrate. I’m probably looking like an idiot for not realizing these things, but I was a disappointed idiot for sure.

  • still buggy

a bit pricey but sounds great although still a little buggy, sometimes crashes randomly and if you scroll in the songs section it crashes my iPad Pro every time… my other iOS devices work fine, go figure! lol but it is the best sounding from all of them except for the fee AmpOne, but that is limited to the best amp modeling in the industry and bare-bone effects.

  • This Is The Best Modeler imo

I’ve been into guitars for three decades as an amateur player. I want to get the best sound possible out of each of my guitars. I’ve owned many solid-state amps and tube amps. But I just wasn’t satisfied with my tone. I’ve tried various modeling amps but I just couldn’t find one that worked for me. Then I came across BIAS FX 2 and BIAS AMP 2 for iPad and I was blown away with the quality of the tones I was able to get out of the same guitars that I’ve previously tried with modeling amps. At the suggestion of others, I run Bias fx 2 through an iRig HD 2 guitar interface and into a Headrush frfr 108 speaker. It works great for me. Also look into the Spark amp by positive grid. These people know tone.
