i come to Playa every year and get the annual membership. Great value and the BEST customer service i’ve probably ever had for anything!!!! The bikes are great. New seats. Money well spent.
SCAM Credit card fraud and email information stolen
Do not give them your credit card number or any other information they will steal it and use it for other purposes
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
They charge additional fees unexpectedly. The bike rental policy isn’t clearly explained. The app barely works. Getting the sms code via the app doesn’t work and you have to contact through WhatsApp for everything. When trying to dispute charges they don’t respond. It ended up being cheaper to just use a taxi instead.

Very disappointed
Three months ago I got a yearly plan and put money on account. After updating the app I have no plan and no money, and they cannot figure it out, but saying there is no refund.
Advise: buy yourself a bike, or, if you have an account, don’t put money there, makes no sense whatsoever.

Disappointing
I do love this service… when it works.
Cheap and convenient. However, app can be glitchy and the customer service is not very helpful. Especially if you don’t speak Spanish. I’ve been unable to use the app at all because of a bug for the last 2 days.

WARNING SCAM APP
I paid for a years membership they then suspended my account and tried to charge my card 18,000 pesos $800 saying I had rented the bike for 12 hours because their systems were not working and did not register the return of my bike. They now suspended my account until making payment so lost the year subscription. I’m not having to charge back the annual subscription through my bank as they did not provide any support even though I was cycling with my friend and showed two identical journeys together (pick up and drop off) app and company are scam probably associated with the cartel DO NOT USE THEY WILL STEAL MONEY FROM YOUR BANK

Fake app, they have no bikes!
Just looking for your subscription Money, there are no bikes you can get via the app even when you are standing next to one.
Cheap but poor service and excess charges
I love the concept of bike rental through an app but this company has really poor management of their app and customer service. There is often unjustified excess charges directly on my credit card. If you don’t notice within 5 days, they refuse to refund. The app also often freezes leaving you unable to finish the trip or rent a bicycle later.

Hidden Charges that they Won’t Refund
I am frustrated because the BiciPlaya charged me $150 pesos for something that should have been free. I was not checking my charges because I didn’t have a reason to be charged, so then came upon 3 charges one day. They would not refund me for 2 of them because it wasn’t within 5 days. This is not a fair business practice.

Estoy frustrado porque BiciPlaya me cobró $150 pesos por algo que debería haber sido gratis. No estaba revisando mis cargos porque no tenía un motivo para que me cobraran, entonces encontré 3 cargos de dias diferentes. No me reembolsarían 2 de ellos porque no fue dentro de los 5 días. Esta no es una práctica comercial justa. 👎🏼👎🏼

If for any internet issue or connection issue they charge you and they don’t pay the charges back saying it’s under review????????????
