Ebo app sucks
I like the robot. But the app is not great. I use the motion detection recording and it does the job of recording when it detects the motion. But then i have to download the recording each time in the app to see it. Then if I want to delete the recordings to clear up space in the sd card and app it will allow me to do it but its not possible to delete all videos in one go, everytime I delete the videos and come back their are more videos. So if you can fix these 2 things that will be great.

Very bad experience with the app, delete my device itself, once I want to add back, it got error. The most bad news is, without the app, the camera is a rubbish

My previous dog cam stopped working, so purchased this one through some reward points. I absolutely love it. I wish it said more as I love it when it goes woohooo. So far it’s been great.
app quality is so awful
I try to signed up as US user, but it will fail again and again show connection error. I am pretty sure my phone has internet. After I changed my location to China and use email it finally works.
The robot connection with app is super unstable, you need to guess where the robot is heading.

Got it back on wifi 5 finally
Wifi, choppy, lagging issues. You could hear Ebo SE moving as you maneuver it within app but the screen is frozen. Seems like the issue is strictly for the app related Enabot team in converting all the Ebo device data into an app intelligible interface format. For almost a year it would not connect to 5.0, I gave up, finally yesterday I tried again and finally worked after an hour of adding/unbinding/deleting/etc.
When it works it's A- however with all these app issues that come and go constantly over the years it brings it down to a C-

So much fun!
Watching my cats while I’m away is so fun! Plus I check my house, it has night vision, and I can record videos and It’s two way microphone! For me it’s well worth the money. I might get my friend one for her birthday.

Weird choice to force people who have already bought one of your products, to have to wait 5 seconds to skip an advert for your new product.

For what it is, it works remarkably well
This is an app for a product that it’s hard to make a convincing case for really needing. It’s a robot about the size of large orange that trundles around on two caterpillar belts and is equipped with a webcam, a laser pointer, a mic and a loudspeaker. The software allows communication (which is via wifi and so can sometimes cut out depending on the strength of the wifi wherever it is sent; try switching to lo-res video feed and be patient, sometimes it will reacquire wifi; it works with both 2.4G and 5G so if it loses one it will look for the other) between your iPhone and the device, with users authorised by a server that can grant multiple users access to the same device, albeit I’ve not tested that in practice personally. The app works well, once I had understood the various features, enabling human or pet (ie cat & dog) detection (user chooses which of the two - works surprisingly well with my 2 cats) and following (depends how quickly the target moves whether this’ll be effective) - both in the charging cradle (which it can generally manage to find and return to dock & charge when needed). It can also do some “dance moves” to entertain your pet which together with the sound link up does enable me to interact with my feline friends when I can’t be there in person. Of course there can be the odd hiccup - it’s not human and eg depending on how uncluttered and level your floor and if you’ve carpets/rugs how deep the pile, it can get stuck - but actually it’s remarkably effective in its design and works well, and if you can’t be with your pets for an interval of time it does seem to provide some sort of meaningful connection. My two cats don’t treat it like their other toys and nor are they uninterested but have a sort of curiosity/respect for EBO which is about as good as I might imagine possible between something of this relative simplicity. Well made and fun. Recommended.

I have had no problems using this app. I absolutely love Ebo, my cat is a little unsure at the moment lol.
