  • Great Puzzle/Exploration Game!

I had a good time with this one. Graphics are great, and the puzzles were fun to solve. I loved the Dinner location and unlocking it’s secrets. Only one puzzle I needed a guide. Wish there was more to explore, like the kitchen area. Oddly no bathroom anywhere. The controls also take getting used too, and are a bit clunky. Touch controls being the least fun, so I do recommend a controller.

  • Puzzling 🤔

The game is great, fantastic even! I love puzzle games so for me this way superb. It wasn’t easy, but no one wants a easy puzzle game..
The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I want more haha! Please please, pleease stop whatever you are doing and make the next chapter! I’m excited to play the next photo 🤩

  • Baffling

It’s a testament to the moody and well-done ambience created by the developers that I spent as much time as I did walking back and forth, and opening and closing the same drawer, with absolutely no results, before deciding I’d had enough of this.

Just, in the end, a ball of frustration, and I’ve played many, many mystery room games before: everything that looks like it should do something does nothing, and the things that actually do something merely move a little and then do nothing after all, not to mention that UI for manipulating or using the inventory is incredibly unclear.

I can be a dumb person, and I could be missing something big, so you should give it a try if you have patience for this kind of thing.

  • It Was Fun But...

The game itself is fun. I did enjoy playing it but there are a few issues I had with it.

The first issue is what everyone who’s played this is probably gonna say or already has said is the movement. It was a bit choppy and kept getting stuck and made it kinda of irritating. The graphics could’ve been a little better but it’s really not all that deep. I still had fun playing.

I also didn’t like the way it ended. I was assuming there was more to the story at the end when my character ended up in the office but when it suddenly ended with credits I was HIGHLY disappointed. I was expecting more and I do think there should be more. I don’t want to delete the game just in case there may be an update where there is more to play. I don’t understand how this works lol.

I definitely would’ve gave this game 5 stars if there were more to the story versus a cliff hanger (if that’s what you want to call it). I love mystery puzzle games and this game was definitely intriguing. I just hope there will be more for this game in the future as well as an update to fix the annoying choppiness of the game.

  • Inventory fetch-quest game lacking substance beyond pretentiousness

This game is nothing more a long inventory fetch-quest from start to finish. Puzzles? What puzzles? There is very little logic to the objects and where to get them from, so you’re not actually thinking, solving, or “working out” the puzzles. You’re just exploring, tapping, retrieving, returning. It’s billed as having intricate and inventive puzzle-solving, but I don’t see that level of cleverness.

The camera is placed somewhat too high up so you’re almost always looking downwards, which is nauseating. Even at the highest FOV for me.

Controls for item usage and object interaction are unintuitive and clunky. To use an item you have to open inventory, tap the item, close the inventory, adjust your camera so your crosshair is positioned on the location, then tap on the location to use item. Better game mechanics lets you skip at least 2 of those steps. Interacting with scenes forces you to tap in the middle of your phone screen instead of just tapping in place on the bottom right of your phone screen where your thumb already is after moving the camera around. You also can’t just tap directly on the object without first moving your crosshair onto it. It’s not well made for mobile.

This game is also on Steam for PC, so maybe the controls and FOV are better there.

  • Wow

I’m not joking when I say this game made me have a little bit of religious experience. The abstract symbolism, especially towards the end touched me deeply. Still not quite sure what the narrative was about but I loved it.
  • Beautiful & Challenging

The first thing to be noticed is the gorgeous graphics. They are simple, but very beautifully done. It certainly brings the entire game to life, with charming music to enhance the atmosphere. The puzzle solving it actually pretty challenging, but still fun even if at times it gets confusing or frustrating. With all of these qualities, it’s saddening how short the game actually is. What would be wonderful is if future updates would include more scenes to explore and puzzles to solve in brand new environments. Hell, even further progression in the story and mystery would be incredible. At the very end, it seemed as though that could easily be a possibility, so maybe? It would be greatly appreciated if there was more to come.

  • Amazing

This game is one of my favourites and I constantly replay it. I like the fact that you don’t get hints which will make it more difficult and challenging.
This game alone would definitely make an apple plus subscription worth it. I think that the developing team should make more levels or chapters. I definitely would recommend this for anyone who is thinking about purchasing apple plus.

  • Unclear directions and did not like

As soon as I opened this game, there was a control for looking and moving. The looking button was very difficult to control. It would stop whenever I tried to swipe. (It would basically lag) I could not really tell where you were going, the directions were not clear. One of the directions said “Interact with items when the cursor changes, what does that mean? And to me it’s unclear. I also thing a lot of the Apple Arcade games are not worth $4.99 a month. The only games that I actually like are: Assemble With Care, Sasquatch and Mini Motorways. So once the free trial is over I’m done playing the games and not paying $5.00 a month.
