  • ClayShare is motivating!

There are so many things about ClayShare that I love. *Jess and Kevin are approachable-they feel like friends to all of us in their large family of members. They answer questions promptly over social media or email. They seem to incorporate their business into family life-maybe because they work all the time so we see them somewhere almost every day. I know they are trying for more balance to avoid total burnout. Please take time off-we get it. *There are classes archived for absolutely any question or topic I might have. *Jess teaches on a level that everybody can understand but does not talk down to anyone. Longtime experienced potters can also learn from her. *Monday Morning ClayShare is a great way to start the week and the weekly Wednesday classes are very informative. *The additional time they give to us, like ClayCon or bead week are above and beyond. *I am more motivated by this online membership than my studio classes that I have been enrolled in for years. Thanks!!!

  • Hooray for ClayShare

Jessica and Kevin have built a supportive community of artists willing to share their artistic gifts and I really appreciate it. I feel welcome and respected in the ClayShare social network. Everyone is encouraging to each other. The ClayShare logo: Learn, Make, Share is accurate. Jess and Kevin have made hours and hours of in depth pottery instruction available, much of it free. I have learned so much from ClayShare I feel my own understanding of clay and how to work with it has grown immensely. Thank you Jessica and Kevin for your commitment to create and maintain a pottery hub for learning, interaction with other potters and fun. You have enriched my life.

  • Melissa’s review

I’m new to pottery and was searching everywhere for pottery information and how to classes. I so glad I found Clayshare. I’ve learned so much from the live and recorded classes. I look forward to each class! I like the list of materials needed for each class and the breakdown of each step in creating pottery. I’m glad I became a prime member. I love getting discounts on materials from Clayshare sponsors and on rolling pins and templates. I’m more motivated in creating pottery and using various glazing processes after each class I view. My pottery has improved based on the materials offered on this site.

  • Susan Clark’s Feat of Clay

I subscribed to your show several months ago and have throughly enjoyed it. I usually watch it on the replay and haven’t sent questions.
I have been doing clay for about 50 years!!! Thst does tell you I am not young!!
There is always more to learn, my art degree did not include pottery so I had to learn on my own with many mistakes but also lots of experimenting!!
I started out with handmade angels which I have no idea how many have flown away! It was so much fun. I live in a small town in MS so there were no clay people. I never learned to throw. My son is an excellent clay person and has offered to teach me, but my brain is too full for more and I don’t want to tempt my skill with more task!!
I have tried many things in clay , some I have shared. I cut stencils and make prints on clay then fired them to about a cone 2 and let people paint them in acrylics. That process saves me another firing and they leave with a piece of art.
I have done this several time with special needs.
I do mostly want to say how much your show and your delightful presentation has made my clay world better , I really want to make a rain stick. I have 4 children and 3 are artists so I live in the world of imagination! Thanks for adding joy to thst world and many prayers for healing.
My husband has Parkinson so I also live in a world of physical needs.
Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge😁❤️

  • Learning so much!!

Jessica is an amazing wealth of knowledge, a pleasure to watch her videos and I’ve learned more from her and ClayShare than I ever have in any class I’ve taken. Thanks so much to both Jessica and Kevin for providing all the instruction as well as a feeling of family among ClayShare members! Kevin is so helpful and knowledgeable on the tech side of things as well! And added bonus is the discounts available from so many affiliated sources for all things for making pots! The best money I’ve ever spent on my pottery journey!

  • ClayShare is a must have for Ceramic fans!

I have been a premium member of ClayShare for almost six years and I find that it just keeps getting better. I turn to ClayShare for inspiration and education. Jessica is brilliant at making sometimes complicated processes simple and repeatable. She is upbeat and funny. Jessica and Kevin, her husband are a dynamic team to make ClayShare constantly better. Jessica encourages the members to interact as a community and I am enjoying the family feeling. I love participating in the pottery exchanges put on by ClayShare family members! Also how members cheer each other on by giving tips and encouragement to each other. Looking forward to more workshops and classes. So worth every penny I have invested in my membership. Thank you ClayShare for being wonderful!!

  • Game Changer for me!

I took a class at a local clay guild which ended being a super discouraging experience. I didn’t want to give up and I found ClayShare and it changed everything for me. The classes are excellent and you can watch them over and over again. jess is so kind and encouraging and really gave me the confidence to keep going. You really feel like you were part of a Clay community. There is so much great content and learning opportunities to take advantage of on Clayshare. I highly recommended this app to anyone. I would not be the ceramic artist I am today without the skills I learned from these classes.

  • ClayShare is fabulous!

Jessica is one of my main inspirations and influential artists in my growth in Pottery. I also love that she and Kevin are able to do this as a team. I learned so much from the videos. Keep up the wonderful content and the great collaboration with each other as well as other potters like Adam Field,Kevin Kowalski, and more! I really like being introduced to the companies like ClayScapes, Amaco, Mud Tools, and all the other companies that make potters lives so fun! I will forever be thankful for the Periscope platform and Potters of Periscope group for opening my world to beautiful art and continuing camaraderie amongst us all. I especially love seeing where all of our Potters’ of Periscope journeys continue moving forward today!! Thank you for creating ClayShare along your journey Jessica! It touches so many creatively, yes but on a deeper, more soulful level! Namaste! Janice McCravey J McClay Creations
