  • Lovin It!

I’m new to water based clay and love ClayShare as a source for classes to learn the basics of hand building, firing, glazing, surface techniques, throwing and just about anything I could ask for. They are constantly making new easy to follow tutorials, and there is always something new and interesting to learn about. And the app makes it all easy to access. I wish it were easier to find links to the tools and glazes and such...I’m still trying to figure that out and would love to give credit to ClayShare for referring me to them. Thanks for creating such a great site! Love you guys!

  • Great learning platform for potters

What can I say about ClayShare, it’s awesome! I have learned so much from Jessica and all that ClayShare has to offer. I discovered ClayShare when I joined the Instagram family and during this COVID 19 shelter in place craziness. My studio closed. I’m a newbie potter, and it has become my passion and not having the studio to go to was hard. I didn’t do a lot of hand building, prior, I’m a wheel addict 😁 I watched every day of ClayShare Con and I’ve been hooked ever since! Now I can say I can handle build, mugs, planters, plates, etc, so many things! Being able to still play with clay at home and stay creative has kept me sane during this COVID crisis! Thanks so much Jessica and ClayShare! 🙏💖

  • ClayShare Classes

I’ve learned so much about pottery making through watching Jessica Putnam Phillips’ classes. I had taken several wheel throwing classes in my community, but with ClayShare I’m able to watch her videos as often as needed and have become much better at throwing, and now also very much enjoy hand building, something I’d never tried before. Thank you Jessica!

She has a great way of teaching in a way that makes you understand and she passes on her confidence to her students! After joining ClayShare, I’m certain that I can conquer all of my ceramics goals. I’ve been inspired to try things I’d never have tried before. This subscription is definitely money well spent. Thanks Jessica!

  • A new ceramic artist in the making

I have worked with clay but that was 30 years ago. These classes have given me new, refreshing ideas and loads of design ideas! Now I see this as a way to earn additional income in retirement and a great skill to make treasures for my family and friends. Thanks to Jessica and her zeal for her art, I have a renewed interest in using her techniques. I really wasn’t cut out for crochet😂

  • In love with this app

I’m learning so much from clay share..I would say I am an intermediate potter and find these videos easy to grasp and perfect for all levels. I love the way Jess teaches and find her super engaging. There are tons of videos and content offering so many ideas I would never think of! Even when I think I already know how to do something, I find another way of doing it and often times easier. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the gift of clay or to learn and grow your skill.

  • Love the well made videos and the interactive clay experience

I learn so much from the well made instructional videos. Jessica has a way of explaining things to make everything seem easy. There are so many quality videos on every facet of clay that you learn a well rounded clay practice. Jessica does a live special project every week with an opportunity to ask questions. Along with the many videos, Clayshare also has a FB site where you can connect with other potters to ask questions and show your projects. Jessica and her team follow this page and answer questions when they find it appropriate. Clayshare is a must if you are interested in clay projects and want to connect with other potters.

  • A must-have for potters of any skill level

Finally! A fabulous pottery app full of amazing classes, tips and techniques! ClayShare was already a top notch website and now having an accompanying app... well I couldn’t be more thrilled! I love the ease of quickly finding a class I’m looking for or just browsing around to discover things I hadn’t seen yet. Being able to add classes to My List to save to watch later is a big one for me. So in love! Great UI means it’s extremely intuitive and easy to navigate, learn from and get excited about! Not to mention that Jess is a natural in front of the camera and makes learning new things super fun! Whether you are a beginner or an expert, there are things to learn and have fun with on this app! Total game changer!
