Description of Levels

Levels helps you see how food affects your health. Are you fueling correctly? Your metabolic health regulates your energy levels, appetite, sleep, weight, mood, long-term health, and more. Levels helps you optimize these with real-time feedback using data from continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). Levels is backed by advisors who are key leaders in metabolic health: Dr. Robert Lustig; Dr. Mark Hyman; Dr. Sara Gottfried; Ben Bikman, PhD; David Sinclair, PhD; Dom D’Agostino, PhD; Dr. Molly Maloof; Dr. David Perlmutter; Dr. Terry Wahls, & Dr. Gerald Shulman; and was co-founded by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Casey Means. LEVELS CHANGES HOW PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIVES: - “I’m far more aware of my body and its reactions to food, exercise, sleep, and stress. I feel better when I have more food choices than when I was limiting myself too much.” —Laurel Touby, 59, New York - “I was focused on course correcting my dietary and lifestyle choices to improve my metabolic health, but I realized very quickly that it was much more than that. This is not about deprivation and what I cannot eat.” —Celia Chen, 49, Los Angeles - “It’s the combination of intermittent fasting and using the CGM that has accelerated my metabolic health optimization. I finally feel like I’ve cracked the code on my body.” —Chris Wise, 42, Los Angeles Everybody has health goals. Reviews of Levels

  • Premium price, slim on advice

I’m in month 2 with levels. I have CGMs through a Signos sub but started using levels so I could access glucose data in 3rd party apps, esp on my Garmin. Initially the amount of data analysis presented is borderline overwhelming. I spent a lot of time inputing meals even though I’m already using a logger that writes to Apple health. The only advice I’ve seen is canned suggestions based on the type of foods consumed. There is no pattern recognition, no personalized dietary suggestions and oddly the overall tone is cold to neutral. This was definitely architected by tech people in a black and white world lacking motivational skills or empathy. This is night and day different to Signos (which I enjoyed and would still use if it wasn’t a closed system )As a former pro cyclist who still races in my 50s, the blanket lens looking at all spikes as bad just fall flat. This app is not suitable for serious athletes. Glucose fuels sport and not all spikes happen during training. If you’ve got $240 per month burning a hole in your pocket, have lots of spare time for data input, want to see how you respond to various foods, and are ok with drawing your own conclusions without the help of AI - lucky you, this app is for you.

  • Game changer

Amazing tool to figure out your body. Let’s face it,the health care system is horrible. Im taking the reigns. Next step is getting with a nutritionist to further my knowledge. I found out through this tool that i am pre-diabetic. I had eliminated sugar for years and still was packing on the pounds. I knew something must be wrong. This has changed everything . Get it! Every one should wear one for a month at least. Im 57 and have pretty much ruined my metabolism by dieting my whole life. It stops here.
