  • Wrong ingredients listed most of the time

I just started the low Fodmap diet based on my doctors recommendation. This diet is hard to figure out and I thought this app would make everything easier.
80-90% of the time, the ingredients listed are either incorrect when compared to the actual product, or the ingredients listed are totally cut short. When they are cut short, things that should be flagged as yellow or red are shown as green since it’s being based on only a couple of the first ingredients.
The scanner is also pretty slow. Trying to use this in a grocery store is unrealistic since it will take awhile to register.

  • NOT Life changing anymore

LOL my IBS has gotten bad again and I went to open up the app, now I have to pay? Will be deleting the app now. App was good when I first used it! But a monthly subscription is just a little ridiculous to me.

So easy to use and has made my life a million times easier! I’ve recently moved into college dorms and it has been SO hard to eat Low fodmap, and this app has revolutionised my diet and quality of life. I no longer have to worry about processed foods and try and guess what’s going to bother me!! This has cut out so much extra worry and time for me, it feels like the start of getting my life back!

  • Wonderful App!

I am new to the FODMAP “diet” and this app has been immeasurably useful! I can’t, and don’t, go grocery shopping without it. When I come upon an item that isn’t in their database, I follow the prompts to determine if it is low FODMAP. Within hours they respond and let me know about my product. They also add the item to their library. Don’t hesitate- get this app!

  • New update

This app was perfect before you guys updated it asking for premium accounts! Why on Earth would you think it would be good to make people pay for scanning food!! I’m soo sorry that you feel the need to gain more money off people who can’t prevent a disease that ruins their whole lives. And if you didn’t know this information already…most people with digestive issues needing assistance with shopping are low income! Shame on you.

  • Wished in worked IN the store

Every store I go into the program stops working and then I’ll close it and try to reopen it and it requires me to sign in again only to repeat the process. If it does work, and I need to check something in the Monash app, the program freezes up and I need to close it down completely. I think it causes more frustration than just buying food and can’t eat and then throwing it away.

  • Incredible

This app is so helpful. You can scan bar codes while grocery shopping to see if the food is high, medium or low on the FODMAP scale. I use it before I order food at restaurants. You can look up foods you are unsure about. It gives amounts of foods you can eat at each level. I recommend you get it!
  • Great app

My youngest has been forced to go GF. This has been a fantastic tool helping us change our lifestyle to match her needs. If one goes, so go we all. This is a good tool for sure. I’ll definitely share my experience with others. Although I’m a super introvert so I don’t really have others to tell lol. Maybe one day I’ll lose my mind and like someone enough to actually wanna talk to them.

  • Helpful tool for avoiding trigger foods

I love this app!! I have a gluten intolerance and am currently on a low fodmap diet to help identify additional irritants to my digestion and I was lost before this app. I kept accidentally eating things that were high fodmap and derailing my elimination diet. Love the scan amd search functions. Will use this to avoid gluten after my elimination diet. Thank you!!!

  • Overall great app!

Recently being diagnosed with IBS I immediately had to change to a low FODMAP diet. The app has been wonderful for helping me learn what I am allowed to have and how much! The only downside I have found this far is the scanner often doesn’t work more than once without me having to close out the app and restart it.

  • Life changing

I’ve only starting using this app 10 minutes ago and it would’ve been so great if I had opened it a few hours ago before my trip to Whole Foods. I recently learned about my IBS and have been doing research and trying new apps. This one will save me so much time and hassle when figuring out what to eat. They have an impressive amount of items listed, including name brands, and provide explanations about why a product may or may not be low FODMAP. Typing in and/or researching every item on an ingredient list is time consuming. This app is reliable and does the work for you.
