Great. If you’re online, that is.
The implementation is good for a complex game, but you can’t play it if you’re not connected to the internet. I bought this to play on planes whilst travelling but I can’t play it on planes as most domestic flights in my country have no internet in the air.

UI and multiplayer bring the app down
The biggest complaint I have is that to start an online game with friends everyone has to be online to join a game. You cannot send invites to offline friends. This makes it a real pain to even start a game. The second worst part is that there are no notifications. So nothing will tell you if it is your turn or if you need to take an action. This completely makes the app worthless to me.
The implementation of the actual game is pretty good and the tutorials are really helpful, but there is a severe lack of quick tips on what the actions do mid game. This wouldn’t be so bad if the undo features were more robust. There are some moves you can undo, but it really needs to go further.

Almost great
I’ve successfully played a number of solo games and it’s been fun. My onlu qualm with the game is how little information you’re shown in the main screen.
Can’t play game without internet connection
I love playing digital board games while traveling or on holidays. This game won’t work without active internet, so can’t play on airplane rides or while camping without cell service.
This is a huge problem and will keep my rating at 1 star until fixed.

Great game but..
… it is a shame the offline mode does not work anymore offline. You have to be connected to play offline otherwise it is just stuck on the charging page endlessly.
Could be nice to make it possible to play again against the IA offline so I can play on the plane or when I don’t have internet.

Wont work
App does’nt work on my Iphone sadly it’ts great on steam or adroid if you like scythe but just does’nt work
Never stops loading
I played this app countless times and had some great games. But, over the past couple of months the game has become inoperable as I can never get past the loading screen. The app starts up, begins loading in and then never stops loading. The game never starts. Such a shame. I want my money back now that the app doesn’t even work.
UPDATE: Thank you for the instructions. It worked and now I’m back on Scythe Digital Edition! I have changed my rating to four star!

Hi there! The problem with infinite loading is only due to different accounts. This is why: Log out of AppStore Log out of GameCenter Uninstall Scythe Log in to the AppStore and GameCenter with the same account Install Scythe and enter the game Please don't skip any step. A few people said they did everything, but in fact they skipped one step and the problem persisted. Best, Sir Patman
Won’t load
Would love to try this but it’s constantly stuck on the loading screen. Have tried to contact developers with no luck. Money down the drain so far.

As others have indicted app does not work running IOS 17.1.2. Was a great app too, shame.
Love this game/app with a catch
It seems like many of the bugs have been works out. The one thing keeping me from giving 5 starts is that the app seems to hang in offline startup (when I’m in airplane mode on a flight). It seems like IOS’s Game Center is what hangs it up. Every time I start the app it connects to Game Center. But when I start it and I’m off Wi-Fi and cellular the app hangs on the startup screen and the Game Center prompt doesn’t come up.
It’s a bummer because I mostly can’t play it on flights (which is half of why I downloaded it) unless I start the app before takeoff, and even then, if I close it for too long it will force me to go through the start up screen again. Any ideas how to fix this?
