Brilliant! Secure! Convenient!

Love having direct digital access to my health information. So many benefits I can’t name them all but I love that it allows me to communicate, refill a prescription, and view lab results when they are ready etc. Whatever I need from my providers, I can get it in less time it takes to make a phone call. I love I don’t have to wait for someone to answer the phone when the call volume is busy. It is carefully monitored and secure so I never worry about my personal information getting into the wrong hands. Of course if I need something immediately or can’t wait for a response, then I make a phone call. I am glad the option is here to do either/or. If I choose to share with family, that’s an option. If I could give this service 10 stars, more than well deserved.

Scripps Portal

The portal is a great system/app and provides easy access to my entire Scripps team. I can quickly request prescription renewals and schedule my own appointments. My tests results are all there, which allows me to review current and past results. I also receive reminders and other notices on my phone and via email. Hopefully all my data is secure, but other than that concern, I love the Scripps Portal. Conrad

Not Intuitive

I have to search through so many menus and sub menus to do anything; it’s annoying. I don’t remember when you changed this app, but it used to be a lot easier to find anything; especially if I want to message my doctor. On top of that, I applied to be notified of earlier appointments if there was a cancellation. I definitely get notified, but when I click the notification (from email or phone or in app) it tells me the earlier appointment is no longer available. I’ve literally logged on SECONDS after receiving the notification and it’s still marked unavailable. Fix this mess of an app, you’re messing with people’s quality of health care.

Frustrated with this app!!

I am unable to send a message to my primary care doctor regarding ongoing symptoms and I had a question about a referral to another physician. No matter what I did it wouldn’t send the message!

Why do you make it so hard to contact a physician! Of the choices listed none says “note to physician.”
In the past, I have been able to send a note even though I end up choosing an item n the list that isn’t applicable. This time I listed a symptom and was referred to doctor I haven’t seen in years!
Sometimes this app is helpful but it’s not working for me now!

This APP is amazing!

I love everything about Scripps. The APP is the best thing on the market! It’s so easy to use, everything you need is a one-stop-shop in this APP. I especially like that you can read your lab results, any response from your doctor almost instantaneously. You can pay your bills, schedule appointments and etc.

Do I like MyScripps Site?

I’m a new patient with a doctor at Scripps and at first I though MyScripps was great. I do have a few concerns now.

1. You have to be constantly check site for results, appointments, messages and results which to a senior is at time difficult, confusing and time consuming.
2. I found out a ECG test results were “abnormal” on the site and from the ECG report. I found this very concerning as I’ve never had any problems or concerns with my heart and visit my primary physician regularly. I looked up what the test results stated on this report and it said I’d probably had a heart attack or the tech did the test incorrectly. !!!!

I feel a patient should be informed personally by a phone call or letter of any abnormal test result. Seems like critical information is becoming very impersonal - so sad. I’m also not sure if I’ll be using this site in the future.

Not user friendly; notifications are annoying

For every visit I book, I get a confirmation and two different notifications to echeck in both in text and email.
When trying to view what is going on with a notification, you have to authenticate (3 steps, 4 clicks) and the you aren't taken to the specific appointment, letter, or whatever you need to do.
You have to hunt around to figure out what the appointment is, what action to take, and sometimes I can't really even find it.
I am getting annoyed with all the notifications that lead nowhere!

Not the best

It was working great until one of my doctor whom I have not seen for a year. Yesterday I needed to message her with new symptoms I wasn’t able to because her name was no long on the app to do so! I ended up calling her office and left a message. She tried to contact me via app because it was listed active communication instead of calling. I received her reply read only. I waited all day for her call and unable to reply to her questions until this morning. This she send me the message and I was finally able to reply.
I also had problems on this app having full function for my minor son’s communications with his doctor and care! Very limited to basics only!
He had a X-ray last night. I received email message letting me know I have a message when I go to the app. The X-ray result isn’t there?
Terrible service for him 😡

Test Results Need Time Taken

The one piece of information that is missing from test results is the time-of-day that the test was taken. My Mother-in-law spent several days in the hospital and had lots of tests taken each day. Many iterations of the same test (blood glucose) occurred but without the time stamp on the results, it was impossible to know exactly which result matched which event.

My Chart! A Breath of Fresh Air

The more I use My Chart for Scripps HealthPammPammie
PamMcSadie&Pamm the happier I get with the many things that I can do with it and the access I have to my health information and to be able to share it when I travel. It is easy to use especially when you’re old and clearly marked for understanding on where to go. Thank you for making it so easy for me to obtain my information.
