Odd Bluetooth setup but Works!
It actually works well for video recording or picture taking. I struggled to connect it the device to my Bluetooth, I figured out you can’t configure it, it automatically connects to your phone through the app, once you open the app, tap on video and press on the Bluetooth icon (all while the gimbOWL is on with a flashing light) and then your phone will be set up properly. I haven’t tried streaming or anything but the pairing with the device worked and it works with recording and that’s what I was actually after so 👍👍Show lessVic JLF
Recording quality seems poor and motor noise is loud
I thought this was a good alternative to the expensive ones on the market and wanted to try this before splashing out. The motor can be heard on recording on the iPhone 11, so can only record with phone upside down or with the phone horizontal. The recording quality on the app seems grainy or snowy but for the price what more did I expect.Show lessEmmzee12
Apai genie not supported by iPhone
Very annoyed to have purchased a gimbowl which does not connect to the device. The device is unsupported on an IPhone 6 Plus with the latest iOS update. Ripped off.tikked off
Camera turns away from you when using back camera!
It has improved! The current version of this app allows you to broadcast a recording into other apps. That is a great help!
BUT, when you use the back camera of your iPhone (the one with better resolution) this app turns the rotating device in the wrong direction. For example, if you move to your right, the app rotates the phone to the left. When the phone is using the face camera, the app works correctly. This problem seems to happens regardless of what app is using the broadcast signal.Show lessA teacher.

That should be the most simple thing you could have. Please add it to the App!!!
I have a music band practicing in a room and I want the camera to keep turning 360 continuously, so everyone could be capture in our videos while the band is playing... ah! Please don’t forget a control of the speed!Ihateyoumore

A bit restrictive and immature
While the face tracking works, the app does not allow direct usage with conferences NG apps.
The software does not allow you to control whether to “hold” the auto photo or video taking. Once you set it and start moving and then hold a position it starts taking photos or video. The user should control when to do this. Please expose this option.Show lessmdenley

Not able to connect
I bought the Gimbowl and got this app. I thought I had to connect with Bluetooth but all I had to do was launch this app and my new Gimbowl started to work! Yay!cindert1961
Poor picture and Video quality
Although it’s good tracking at 360dgrs, the video and picture quality are very grainy, I thought the app linking to my iPhone 11, I will have the same great picture output. It will be a great product if this problem is fixed.Aaron.kodY
