Warning about Snappr - they use your name for thei SEO
2 big problems for photographers using Snappr: 1. Snappr is using your name for their SEO. So, if a potential client found you via IG, or your website, and they google you, they will see you’re on Snappr. Then the potential client will wonder why your prices are so much higher on your website and ask for a discount OR just directly book you on Snappr. So, Snappr found the way to profit off your marketing dollars. That prevents any experienced photographers to use the app, because it makes is so not worth it. I used to book timeslots that are less in demand, but because of this reason, had to close my account.
2. The app doesn’t make it easy to connect with clients. Client’s number is incorrect on purpose because Snappr wants to prevent photographers to communicate off platform). You send a message via chat. Nobody responds 90% of the time. Most of them booked on the website, and they are not aware of the chat. Then you have to reach out to customer support to get the phone number. They are NOT promp to respond. You have to WASTE time trying to connect, which ultimately cuts your billing hour. When the prices are SO low compared to the industry standards, everything else should be super smooth so you can complete the task asap.
But - not to be completely negative, I will also give my perspective on when it makes sense to be on the app. If you’re a photography student, this can be one of better ways to earn pocket money. When you’re just honing your craft, Snappr exposes you to a variety of shoots. That can help a student figure out what photography he/she enjoys doing the most. This also goes for people switching careers. Most photoshoots you will get through Snappr are pretty undemanding and don’t require years of experience, just someone taking a pic. There won’t be an elaborate photoshoot, you don’t need to invest in crazy equipment as these images are pretty much for digital use and not prints. Most clients are fairly nice people, and these shoots are easy. You can use it to your advantage until you decide to give yourself a promotion.LeahPhotographer
Do not use when you have some important photoshoot
One of the worst ever apps to work with.. The photographers they provide are very good and decent to work with.. But the app and the support team is really disgusting and frustrating.. When we book using their app and confirm a photographer by looking at their profiles they say ok and ask to make the payment.. But after the payment if the photographer do not accept our booking or cancel beforehand for any reason they neither reach out to us and make a adjustment nor respond properly when we reach out to them.. We have a booked a 2 hr photo session in one our vacation and extended our stay only for that reason but because of these guys the photo session didn't take place and we returned paying an extra days charge to the stay..S54A
This app has had same bug for a year!
I’m trying to submit a change (reschedule the photo shoot) and the “submit for review” button doesn’t work. This is a very important function.

Terrible contract
Spent the time making a profile only to get to the contract that is terribly one-sided to the photographer's detriment. When I asked about certain aspects of it I am told "we have to check" and never heard back. Then they hit me up a few times a year asking me to make my profile active and I say maybe when you answer my questions about the contract. They don't value photographers even though their entire company is built upon photographers. I do not recommend getting involved with this company.Ase review
