I love the concept, the way it works and the potential that it has.
As a Test Engineer myself, I see how this will eventually change the world of travel. No more keycards to unlock the doors - this way there is no chance of losing it.
No more problems that cannot be solved via the app or a virtual reception.
P.S: If you need a test engineer part time for that - let me know. More than happy to assist with testing and participating in this.

Absolute junk
My workplace had these installed in the hopes of eventually not needing to have overnight staff but that will certainly not be possible. They malfunction on a DAILY basis, and customer service is useless, always insisting the issue is user error when they things are clearly pieces of junk that just don’t work. They are removing bad reviews from here as well, what a scam. I would rip them off our doors and mail them back if the choice were mine.msimp_91

The “family room” is absolutely not suitable for families with children. The room looks nothing like the pictures Nomad advertises with on hotel websites: Hotels.com, Agoda, etc. Seems like a bait and switch or the management just have no idea their condition is so bad.
It’s dimmed, half of the lights not working, there’s the view of a broken window and a thick thick layer of dust along window frame. Smelly carpet. The size of the room is much smaller than in their pictures. They should at least indicate that this location is not suitable for children if they are going to keep selling this room.

We have 40 rooms in our hostel, we had 6 come out of the box not working at all, I’ve also had to replace half of them within the first 3 months of installation. Many are giving us continued problems. The locks are not tough enough and I don’t understand how there still in business.kalamatykev
