For me this app won’t even let me choose my birth date it’s not useful and don’t download iti dont kniw a nick name

very good, but could be better
This is the 3rd time I’ve been logged out of the app and have not been able to log back in without support. Last time this happened I was unable to respond to messages from parents promptly, meaning I lost out on work.
If parents contact me via the app I have no way of knowing since the app does send email notifications regarding any correspondence from parents. Really frustrating. Please fix the SMS login function and allow for email notifications of correspondence from parents and the option to also reapond via email.Show lessgrace_moonbaby
Improvements need to be made
I’ve had the app for almost a week now and there are a lot of problems, first off I don’t like how long it takes for parents to reply when you have applied for a sit, secondly you can’t filter jobs by certain area because most of the jobs shown are almost 2 hours away from me which is very inconvenient , thirdly some parents don’t provide enough information and I feel like as much information that the sitter puts on the profile the parent should aswell. Lastly it is very there are absolutely no interviews available which makes it hard because parents won’t trust me because my profile won’t be verified but it’s quite impossible for that to happen.Show lessTosin😁

The platform is great to meet family and build rapport with them, however there is no much support from the app in relation to the sitters.
- parents somehow are not instructed to pay straight away, in addition to it the payment are processed 24 - 72 hours through the app, so it’s likely you just get paid after one week or if the parent stop using the app you have the risk to don’t even get paid.
- parents can cancel your sit in the last minute and nothing is applied to them, any fee and you end up wasting one day of work and money of transport.
- it’s frequent parents agree for a certain time and come earlier and don’t pay for the whole sit and time agreed between you two and again nothing happens to the other party.Show lessan47000
Good
I love using this app for short sits, my fav has to be the endless choices of sits. Single sits are good because you as a sitter can decide if you want to come back to the same parents or not. However, as for regular help, it would be useful if the babysitter could have a one week trial before committing to one family for more than one week. It’s just a suggestion to see if the job suits both the sitter and the parents. Overall, I love using this app.Show lessBella7840
Charges are too high
The app is good for extra work but the charges are way too high. You have to pay 10% on top of your earnings which makes shorter sits impossible to take as you also have to pay for transport.
There are nowhere near the amount of checks they do for babysitters on the parents app. Some parents have an empty bio, have an incorrect address. It’s happened more than once that I apply for a sit at one address, it’s accepted and the parent then messaged me saying the sit is at a different address. If I cancel then my profile is taken down.
The focus is all on the parents so the charge should all lie on them as well.Show lesssantoseduarda

We do our best to ensure that we come up with something that is fair and allows Bubble to grow and be sustainable as a business - while ensuring that we can keep offering sitters a really useful service that they love and get great benefit from. This is something we are looking into and we are bringing in changes to the app which will ensure that parents have to keep their details up to date. It is also important to note that accounts will never be suspended if there is a valid reason for cancelling a sit.Amazing
I have been using bubble now for over 2 years and love it. As a student bubble has given me the freedom to work for myself , choosing when I work , how often I work, where I work and how much I earn! This has meant I was able to quit my 9-5 student job and actually do work I love. I can’t recommend the app to people enough!Show lessHanna Erwin

I use Bubble to babysit part-time alongside my postgraduate degree. It’s great for students because it’s so flexible and you can set your own availability.
I’ve met a lot of new families via Bubble over the years. It’s a great way to meet new families, especially when you are new to an area or move city.

I really enjoy working with bubble sitter.
But the commission is too high. I’ve been working on and off with BubbleSitter for over a year and expect to take less commission when you’ve been working with them for a long time.
I’ve never had a issue with bubble with payment and parents so far. The payment take up to 72 hours which is reasonable and lot of job since June.
But since the last update they keep sending me requests from parent far away ! Before I was receiving only from my area which make it so much easier. Now I am in W2 and receive request from Brixton or Stratford ????Too far I spend lot of time checking the postcode.Show lessoclnga

Hi there, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying using the app. Just so you know the more sits you do your platform fee decreases, if you complete 5 sits per month you will become a super sitter. With regards to your sit requests, in London the radius is currently set as 4 miles however if you email support@joinbubble.com we can look into this further for you :)
