Last update broke a major feature
Latest update removed the ability to log my child out of his account on moment’s notice. Which as a parent was very useful in case you had set some screen time but experienced a change of plans (as parents this is just the fluidity of life w active kids) and needed to stop screen time without having to go change the allotted preset daily screen time and figure out how much time was used already and how much you’d need to reduce to stop screen time in the next minutes or completely set it to zero which you’d have to go back and then set the proper screen time again which you spent precious time setting up for each day. This was sort of a kill switch that did not change the preset screen times. Now when I press on my kids account and their device, I do not have the option to log my kids out. A shame that updates take features away from us parents relying on them. I was so impressed with the work Microsoft did to this app that I have recommended it to many parents surprised to hear that Microsoft had made such progress in the family screen time space. I will have to warn them now of the major gap this new update created for us. Would really like to see it back to add stars back to my review.Show lessG_TRX

In a move only Microsoft would make, they’ve added a “new feature” by removing the ability to spread device time between PC and Console systems. No longer can the parent give a child a block of time and let them choose how much of it they use on their PC and how much on their console. Now the parent gets to micro manage how time is split between the two platforms. Gee thanks, I didn’t know how much I needed that improvement.
A reasonable approach would be to allow either method, but we all know how reasonable the Microsoft behemoth is when it comes to being user friendly.Show lessqoqpqpapqpqpqpqp

Avoid if possible. Sorry Microsoft, generally love your apps but this is terrible. I initially installed this to help manage my daughter’s account and didn’t find out after that I really needed to log into my Xbox Live account to do what I want. Now that I spent an hour reading, installing, connecting, and troubleshooting all I want to do is delete this app from all devices. But I don’t seem to have permission to do so. I can’t even remove her account from the family group. I get errors saying I’m not the one who added her which is definitely not correct. Differing UX/CX between web/iphone/ipad platforms makes it difficult to navigate. It also seems like there’s a lack of integration between accounts Live/Microsoft for anything that needs to be done. So, I get an email from Microsoft suggesting this app should be downloaded otherwise the defaults will be applied (whatever they are). Install app. App says “you’re using an old version”. Follow link to Appstore to update. No update available. Open app as it’s the latest. App repeats “you’re using an old version”. Repeat. Uninstall. Get on with life!

Microsoft get in touch. Support/feedback options either don’t work or not directly to the issue. Less than useless from start to finish. Come on guys!!! Aren’t you supposed to be the #1 company in the world now Apple got busted? Doesn’t feel like you are. 🤷🏻♂️Show lessKinkuage

Awesome app. Fantastic for restricting/controlling how much time your kids have on their Windows system. You can set scheduled times for each day of the week and lock the system if need all together. You get activity usage reports to analyse how much time is being spent on which ever application etc. fantastic tool for parents.Show lessCalve up

The application is very simple to manage children online time and computer usage. However, not always 100% reliable when approving times and logins. Sometimes you need to be ready to approve the child login on the PC itself when the request times don’t come through to the applicationHKatory

This app definitely helps to keep tabs on love ones and family members but the work of such tracking apps is usually limited because you always need to access the device you want to keep tabs on in order for the tracking app to work effectively. My question is, if I can access the device I want to hack, why would I need it hacked? But I understand we hack devices due to different intentions and to recover some information that most have been deleted or kept from being easily seen. The device will need to be intercepted or completely cloned at times. Infidelity causes a lot of trauma that might be very difficult to cope with if you don't have an account of what is really going down with your spouse when you aren't together. If you keep getting this signs its most likely to be true to your spouse is cheating. That's not the end of life anyway, you can make a choice that suite you and be to your advantage for something like that to never repeat its self.
