Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review and share your candid feedback. It’s certainly not lost on us that some users would ideally like to see more gift cards and for amounts of higher value. We know this may not matter to those negatively affected by these changes, but the gift card rewards have been completely self-funded, and we did not make any money off of the distribution or transactions associated with the e-gift card you’ve claimed in the Paceline app. Beyond the free reward offerings, there is a sizable percentage of people who do find the motivation to work out and use the Paceline app purely based on the streaks, badges, weekly motivation/accountability, articles, and other free content that is provided. Still, we totally get how that is going to be different for everyone, and it’s obviously no place of ours to tell someone what they should find to be valuable to them. Transparently, we intend to continue investing in our own Paceline Marketplace. While our Partnerships team works very hard to make sure the rewards and discounts for partner brands you see are, in fact, exclusive to Paceline users (though please let us know what stores you see these better deals at so we can work with our partners directly), we do understand that the list of products or partners currently available might not resonate with everyone right now. As such, we do hope to continue growing as a company so we can feature some really exciting products and brands with exclusive discounts or offers to our Paceline users, powered by their physical activity. On that same note - as we continue to grow as a company and can reinvest more into our rewards platform, we look forward to rewarding our users at a higher level for their continued engagement with the Paceline app and their commitment to their physical well-being.
