Amazing

I love this app ! If you have things to sell this app is great because an expert takes pictures and sells the items on their platform. Super easy to use and the customer support is outstanding. Cash out is so simple and easy too. Would definitely recommend.

Good to a point

I wanted to try this out as I have a huge backlog of clothes that I want to sell and not always enough time. I submitted a lot and it was approved and I was matched with a pro. So far so good the pro seemed professional and the fees were reasonable to me. Since I had a good experience I decided to submit another lot after it was approved all I was matched with are pros who have outrageous commission fees. I fully understand they are doing the work and deserve a fair commission, what I don’t get is that commission being well in excess of 50% and than still having to pay Flyp’s fee and shipping. It’s a nice idea but if in the end I only get less than 30% of what my item sells for, I would rather do the work myself. There should be a cap on the commissions charged.

could not match a seller anymore

I have been using this app for the past 2 years. Has some really great seller and a few not as good one. But the most recent lot I have submitted was not fun. I had 12 pieces brand name items that are accepted, but haven’t match with a seller for 2 weeks. I just have to kept resubmit the lot. It such a wast of time. I have no idea what’s going on on the other end for the match. But please fix it.

Seamless

They’ve thought of everything. I haven’t hit 90 days yet, so I can’t give a total review. But so far I am really enjoying the ease of use and i’ve been paired with some expert sellers. Would definitely recommend as a way to consign your clothing. I’ve gotten way more than what thredup, platos or buffalo would give me.

Great Service

I have sold several lots of clothing through Flyp sellers. It is very slow moving as I believe the market is saturated with sellers. I have had great sellers and one not so great. In this case the seller stopped responding. Flyp stepped right up with their protection policy and reimbursed me the full price estimate of the clothing the seller had left. In my experience financial transactions have been flawless. Cashing in on my account has been easily accomplished.
The best part of Flyp is their customer service but as far as this app goes, it is extremely user friendly. It is simple to put a lot together for potential sellers. Chats with your seller are always available. The terms of the entire process are easily understood. Responses to emailed questions are quick and thorough, and friendly with great follow up.

Great inventory at $0

Quick first review: becoming a pro seller has enabled me to increase the inventory in my closet with the brands I want to sell for $0 and practically zero risk. I name my commission, I decide whether or not I want to list something. Maybe not as much profit but I don't have the time or capital to be out sourcing so, this is perfect. It's a good set up.

Just donate to Goodwill

Honestly, I downloaded this app with full intentions of loving it. I posted about five “lots” with brands like Calvin Klein, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, etc. After being matched with a Pro Seller, I packaged my lots fairly easily and sent them out. It’s been about three weeks since I sent out my first lot, and so far I’ve made $13 off of a NWT Victoria’s Secret Bra, NWT Toms, and like new condition Calvin Klein crewneck. I’m so ticked off that I even wasted my time with this app. If you’re looking for fast money for your clothes, this app IS NOT the answer. Probably the WORST app I’ve downloaded & am more disappointed in this than I would have ever expected.

Proceed with caution

I sent 15 items. Most new with tags. Worse thing I could’ve done. Made $101. They keep 60%. Unless you have a great seller, it’s not worth it. My seller didn’t communicate, took too long to sell and kept extending period. I started following seller on Poshmark and other sites they used only to see many of the items hadn’t even been posted months after I sent. Could have sold items for a higher profit but due to time restraints I thought this would help. It didn’t. It’s been 6 months. I’ve requested the items back. Don’t let someone else keep all your profit. I started to sell other items on my own and have made $1500 for similar, a lot less caliber items since FLYP only takes certain name brands. Maybe if I was matched with a great seller outcome would have been different. It’s made to sound like all sellers are fantastic. They’re not. Proceed with caution.

Easy to use

It’s very easy to enter items & create a lot for sellers to bid on. The app is easy to use for keeping track of what’s been sold, communicating with the sellers & getting paid. I love the CHA-CHING sound when an item is paid for! Flyp has helped me clean out a bunch of clothing, shoes & purses & earn some extra cash

100 % Recommend

I used to cringe at the idea of selling my used clothes. I always felt like the process was too long and not worth what I would get from it. Flyp has allowed me to just put all my things in a box, ship it out and get paid more than what I would have been able to list it for. I don’t have to worry about dealing with people. I highly recommend!
