Go elsewhere. FTX, CB PRO, BINANCE, KUCOIN are better
I loved this app at first. Bank transfers were quick and easy, decent selection of coins to purchase, automatic interest payments, etc. eventually things started to fall off. The functionality is now extremely lacking. Some charts do not have views for certain timeframes (i.e- weekly shows, but not monthly), the overall view, which is a hidden feature for whatever reason, no longer works, and most importantly, you CANNOT TRANSFER YOUR FUNDS TO OTHER WALLETS. Well, ok, you can with some but not with others- ADA, ATOM and a few others WILL NEVER TRANSFER. And when you reach out to customer service, they simply do not exist. It’s tragic, really because this could be a go-to mobile exchange but is ultimately just a complete disaster. I am liquidating all my holdings (yes, I have to sell and have a taxable event because the app will not let me transfer to other wallets, but whatever, at this point it’s worth it) and migrating to other exchanges. Do yourself a favor and stay away from ANCHOR.

So I’ve been trying to get verified with these crooks for the past month and they want all your info and I mean they could now go out make a duplicate of me in the world but the only thing is, they won’t get far with my SSN college debit they can have but back to the app scammers is I recieved a email saying please verify ur a US citizen which was weird considering they have my Driver license number which I responded right back. And 27 days later after that I hear crickets and I seriously had high hopes for this app it looked promising but the team behind it is worthless find something else if possible unfortunately they steal peoples identity and sell it on the dark net look it up found my info recently and I believe it’s this app dor scammers

This is a scam!
Do not deposit any fund to this app. It doesn’t matter if it’s USD or you try to convert to any tokens and withdraw that way, they will block you with error messages anytime you try to withdraw. The customer support plays dumb and doesn’t not help. You can see online there a swathe of users reporting the same thing. This company does not let you withdraw any funds, yet will take any time of deposit you got. Do not send any money to this app or you will lose it guaranteed. I executed a small deposited 2k USD to test their USD apr and it’s gone now. I can withdraw usd. I cannot convert to tokens and withdraw that way. It always gives an error message that the funds are not available to withdraw. The customer support plays dumb and does not provide a solution. Infuriating.

Ive been using this app for over a year now, almost 2, and I haven’t had any of the problems noted in the other reviews. I don’t make many transactions as I’m more of a hodler, but haven’t had a problem with any. The gas/fees of crypto is almost nonexistent here, which makes it a great app to trade and swap cryptos on. The interface is easy to use as well. Plus you can get a few cryptos here that aren’t listed on many other Exchanges. 👍🏼

Why can’t I buy anymore with this app for the past 4 months
I’m level 3 verification level and I can’t upload anymore information to get more verified because I’m fully verified at the top level and when I go to buy it says I need to upload my driver’s license and other info that I have already done and am already fully verified for and it does not give me the option to upload it again because it says I already have it, I’m scared for when I sell my crypto because what if they don’t let me withdraw to my bank , I like the app but it’s been very weird lately ever since it said it’s transferring to a new bank . I wish it would fix problems so I can buy on the app again and give them money, that would get rid a lot of my fears, good app but they need to fix this problem it’s costing them money

No support , no help . Given me the run around since august
I withdrew close to 700$ in earnings paid my fees did everything. It got delayed by 2 weeks anchor said they were having issues ….2 weeks turned into 4 , still the same story an bunch of un answered support tickets. By late September they said “it’s an issue multiple people have had during the month of august” and they said the funds will be back. Made me send screenshots and proof it’s now November . Over 20+ support tickets and emails back and fourth saying it’s being researched and it was an issue for me and many other people since august. No numbers , no support no way to ever get your help if issues happen. Worst crypto app out of the few Ives used. Missing money and no way to ever get it . Coinbase is the way to go

Almost no support.
I made a deposit on the app to buy crypto in June 2021. It is now October 2021 and it has not been completed because they haven’t been able to fix an issue with their banks. They have now literally frozen all the assets on my anchor account. I cannot withdraw any money or crypto I already had in anchor until the pending deposit is complete. It’s been almost 5 months. How long can they just hold your money hostage??
Their support is nonexistent. It’s all through email and they pretty much ignore your inquires and direct you to their faq. I asked about withdrawing my assets and closing my account to which support replied with “we can close your account if you reply with I confirm.” They did not mention that doing so WITHOUT withdrawing would make me forfeit my money. Again, they aren’t letting me withdraw. It’s stuck there. I absolutely do not recommend AnchorUSD.

Please bank to app deposit!
I first downloaded this app when dogecoin started to rise at the beginning of this year and it use to allow you to transfer money from your bank instantaneous into the app in order to buy crypto etc but for the last couple of weeks it has not let me transfer funds from bank to app. Overall it’s a great application and I definitely recommend it!

AnchorUSD is a Ponzi scheme
AnchorUSD is using the deposits of new clients to pay the withdrawals of other clients. AnchorUSD is insolvent and will one day have to answer for their gross mismanagement. After nearly 40k in deposits i made with the most ease, AnchorUSD is not permitting withdrawals. As of this post they are more than a month late (beyond their posted extended deadline of a week) on withdrawals totaling 3k. The remainder of my funds are forever inaccessible, because I cannot withdrawal my funds. I added a new bank to see if that would make a difference and In the verification process, AnchorUSD had no issue with their instant verification deposits into my bank that were less than a dollar each. Customer service has an auto generated response that this matter is going to be escalated and that they will get back to me with updates, and of course they never do. I recommend everyone to submit a formal complaint to the BBB, because we need to hold this company accountable. Do not use this app at all costs it’s not worth trading with them. Predatory business dealings alert.

I had used this app to invest in both stock and crypto. Now that I am ready to transfer my cash into my bank account, the App will not allow me to move my money back into my linked bank account. They owe me $4,000 and will not do anything about the error message I keep getting. The App worked fine taking my money from my linked bank account but now that I want to transfer cash back to my account it will not allow me to move any money. Support will do nothing to help this situation and I will file criminal charges against this developer as well as the bank they use to fund the transactions. This issue has been months now that I cannot move the cash funds back to my bank account and they will do nothing to assist in getting this issue resolved.
These people should be In jail.
