Shame so expensive
Tried the app on a trial, lots of useful information and easy to use. Extremely expensive for what it is though and can’t justify the cost for an app.Ben6666757

New Tesla owner, I would delete the Tesla app if I could and only use Tessie. The app is amazing, but the customer service is why I’m writing this review.
Kiel was absolutely amazing in helping me figure out why my vehicle wasn’t syncing with the app. He was excellent at communicating the problem, and guaranteed he would fix it that day. Even as the day got late and into the evening, at 8:35est he emailed me to let me know the issue had been resolved.

I subscribed to it mainly for the Apple Watch key ability in my 2023 Model Y. It’s a bit buggy and requires persistent attention to get it to work on my Apple Watch Ultra 2. I don’t feel comfortable leaving my phone behind. It is NOT worth the continuous subscription for the unreliable convenience. I canceled. I would pay a one time fee just for the Apple Watch key access though with the hopes it would more reliably connect in the future.
Edit: Thanks for the response. It’s an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and my car is 2023 Model Y. I keep all my software at the most current (non-beta) version of everything in my digital life.Show lessDabbl3s

On Apple Watch Ultra 2, for battery conservation, Apple only allows a few background unlocks before you need to open the app on your watch. You can tap "Help" under Watch Key to learn how it works. You can always open the app on your watch to unlock your car. If that is not 1,000% reliable for you, something is wrong. Please email me at support@tessie.com.Detailed app but expensive
This app compliments the Tesla cars, it works very similar to the official Tesla app and allows customisation and allows you to use your Apple Watch.
However, this is quite an expensive subscription for what it is, it doesn’t function any better than the official app so I struggled to see the point in paying for it. You can get some interesting data from it, but I don’t think people would use that for very long term. I cancelled the subscription once the free trial ended, yes there is a free trial so no risk, but I simply couldn’t justify it as the practical side of things the official Tesla app already does what you need, however many people do like what it does. Try it, you might like it, for me it wasn’t enough to justify the cost.Show lessRoss_320

New Tesla owner here! I did a lot of research and when I found this app I must say I was scared of the price tag if you purchase our right but after a trail I saw the value. I recommend this app for any Tesla owner new and old. It’s way better than the Tesla app and gives me more details. The developers really did there thing with this app. I would like to see a future update specifically for Apple Watch but until then I will just add a widget to my watch. Even with that one item as a wish list thing it’s still 5 stars! I do plan on purchasing it in full at some point so I will continue to pay monthly as I know the value it provides. It can only get better with time but at that point I’m speechless bc it’s just that good!!Show lessFab365

While we do offer a 14 day free trial Tessie does require a subscription to function. Tessie is designed with one goal in mind: to be an awesome product for you. That's why all data that Tessie collects is on your behalf, for your exclusive use only. It's not shared with anyone or anything. You can view it, use it, export it or delete it at any time.$22 a month for a copy of the Tesla app!

Check the historical pricing on this one. It’s outpaced inflation more than university tuition. It stopped working well with my 2 cars. I stopped my subscription which was $5.99 and see they raised the price to $15 per single vehicle and $20 for multiple per month. Simply not worth it. There is nothing the app does that is worth $15-$20 a month.

Amazing app - made by ONE man
Tessie has done an amazing job at creating a new API that is eons faster and more reliable than the Tesla one. Basic actions execute faster and more often. The ability to track every drive, charge, and battery health as well as export all data in CSV format is an incredibly useful tool for us nerds.
No app compares to Tessie, it has saved me countless times when needing to find details about car location history for turo rentals and tax time for calculating uber miles driven. Awesome app and super useful features! it is amazing that this app is made only by one single person and he responds to technical questions within hours whereas Tesla does not respond to any questions without automated calls spinning you in circles.Show lessJerryi99
