It is helpful to see the basics in action. The way blocking in allows a person to focus on the details instead of the composition and sizing. I painted years ago but watching you gives me hope to up my game even in my later years of life.Rextreme66

Splendid instruction
I’m an experienced professional artist in several other mediums other than oil. I’ve also studied under many masters to improve my skills in these other mediums. So…I’ve always had a strong interest in understanding and mastering the oil painting medium. I explored many online workshops, and online instruction by several masters. I settled on Michael’s courses fairly quickly. He covers many subjects and these subjects are complex, well lit with great shadows and the step by step instructions are nothing less than superb. His site is well organized, easy to navigate and he is easy to understand. I highly recommended studying under him here. Whether you’re a beginner or well skilled, you’ll not regret it. I love this App! Michaels instruction and videos are perfect. I took classes from a “world reknown” artist for over a year for $150/month. I’ve learned more from Michael in two months than I learned the whole time from the more expensive guy. With my first oil painting ever I’ve had friends who can’t believe it’s not a photograph. I would have never learned how to do this on my own. I recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their “hyperrealism” skills.
