MJS tutorials are very well organized and presented so that the students are able to follow along. I’m fairly new to painting and I’m so excited that I happened upon MJS YouTube tutorial. I am so happy I stumbled upon MJS tutorials. I have learned so much. Michael takes you through EVERY step of the process from mixing colors to which brush to use to the actual way to use the brush and the consistency of the paint.
During Covid, when classes stopped, so did I. I was fairly new to painting and I was afraid to continue alone. Now, with Michael, I feel like I am not alone.Show lessmy art class

I totally enjoy and appreciate Micael and people like Michael that share their technique and their skills, I’ve been applying what I can to my short career of painting, it’s been a joy to see More detail in a typically more realistic product, it’s very exciting, however it’s been a challenge to learn to slow down and pay attention to the detail! Wonderful tutorials from a master!

I had been scheduled to take a live 3 day zoom oil painting class that canceled last minute. Wonderful Lessons
I have learned a great deal by watching Michael paint. Paint mixing, color selection, tonal importance, brush use, composition, etc. My painting has improved dramatically. A ray of hope
I am an amateur artist and relatively new to such detailed paintings. I tried the Robin first being small and moved on to the autumn rays. Everybody loves my paintings and they think I am professional but I know different 😂. It was the wonderful tuition of Michael and the video online lessons. The fact you can pick it up and put it down whenever you feel like it helps so much. You can stop when you’ve had enough so you can’t spoil what you’ve done and start again fresh when your inspiration returns. Yes it takes a lot of concentration and some tedious time consuming movements of the paint brush but the end result is fantastic. Your family and friends won’t believe it was you. Persevere and you will see how you change your style in painting for the better. Thank you Michael for sharing such talent with little ole people like me. 👏. I’m now trying the low tide tutorial so I know I’m in for a challenge but it’ll be worth every minute spent on it. Fingers crossed it looks as good as yours Michael 😃.Show less146378U
