I first opened one of Michael’s painting lessons on YouTube earlier last year and wanted, for Christmas, an annual subscription to his lessons. My children heard me! User interface suggestions
Hi. Some suggestions:
- make the forward and reverse buttons have a finer scroll control of forward reverse. Sometimes when you try and scroll back a small amount the videos goes back to the beginning.
- don’t dim the video when paused. You want to see the video nice a clear
- remove the video controls from the screen when you pause the video so the pauses image is not obscured by the control buttons on screen.

MJS’s tutorials were just what I needed to learn how to take my painting to another level. For me, especially, I learned how to mix color better, techniques and how to manipulate either the brush or the paint to achieve details.
