Happy with the updates
I’ve been using this app for a while now and highly recommend it for people with celiac. There’s been updates since my last review that have added to its usefulness. There are now some 12,000 restaurants on the app. They are either suggested by somebody in the gluten-free community or researched and checked out by Gluten Dude’s team. Having traveled quite a bit in the past year the airport app was particularly helpful. Finally, there are many coupons available in the app. Since gluten-free items seem to be much more expensive than regular food items, this is very helpful.

Gluten Dude is THE BEST!!!
A few years ago there was a big fire, some of you may remember the Marshall/Superior Fire in Colorado. We were fortunate that we never needed to evacuate but it was too close for comfort to our home! I have had Celiac Disease for almost 40 years, although really I know it was with me in childhood because of the enamel defects in my teeth which is indicative.
I have many sensitivities besides gluten and the somewhat common sensitivity to dairy so I don’t really go out much to restaurants but the big fire mentioned above and a possible breakdown in our camper got me thinking about emergency needs, especially foods that I need to survive in any emergency!
I found Gluten Dude, read his book, his blogs and researched. I began to feel I could trust his sincerity and advocacy for the Celiac Community. I purchased his App for a lifetime and am so grateful that I now have a reliable place to turn to should our camper break down or we need to evacuate. If you have Celiac Disease, Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity or Wheat Allergy, I hope you will that this App is a necessity too!

Worth the cost!
I’m over 10 years into my Celiac diagnosis, and I can say with 100% certainty that this app is absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I bought the lifetime subscription in the early days of the app so have seen it evolve. Gluten Dude’s care in vetting restaurants, and sharing that info in the app, is one of the best features. It’s incredibly helpful when at home for finding new places, and a lifesaver when traveling. The airport feature is so helpful too so you’re not stuck eating a fruit cup when you can’t find anything else. I recommend this app to everyone I meet with Celiac or gluten intolerance. It’s light years beyond the free and/or crowdsourced apps, and Gluten Dude’s care for the community is evident. I’d give this app 10 stars if I could.

Sooo helpful
What I appreciate about the app is that Gluten Dude vets many of the restaurants and gets the info I NEED as a symptomatic celiac. It’s also easy to find dedicated GF restaurants as you can just click on the tab.
The airport “Lets Fly” tab is absolutely essential for travel.
Gluten Dude is the go to guy for all things gluten- he is a real Champion for us celiacs and this app has so many cool features like finding GF products and beers. It is worth the price for sure!
The other GF app I have has gotten me into trouble when traveling as I can’t trust the reviews and have ended up getting glutenned. (At places given a 5star review by people who obviously aren't celiac)

Terrific App & Resource
I love this app and use it wherever I travel, especially in Europe. Each of the suggestions are most helpful, especially when others have submitted a review too. That helps all of us in the community. I also submit new places and updates (i.e. one local cafe changed their menu and was no longer dedicated GF) and letting the GlutenDude Team know, they did their own investigation and addt’l info was added for that cafe the next day. While you can use other apps to compliment this one; but I encourage you to take a trip and test this out using the trial and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s worth it!! Safe for Those with Celiac!
3 out of the 6 in my immediate family have celiac, including me and my teen son and college daughter. Finding a place to eat when we travel has always been an ordeal even with the so called Find Me app which has a lot of well I didn’t sick so it’s safe reviews. I love that Gluten Dude knows that GF is different for people with celiac and that separate fryers etc are things we care about. We have found so many wonderful places using the app and saved so much time doing it I can not recommend it enough. I fly monthly and knowing where I can eat safely has decreased my travel stress significantly and saved time as well. I also applaud Scott’s advocacy for the community and work he put into the app. A+++++++

A Fantastic Resource
My adult kids both have Celiac. This app is a fantastic resource for finding safe food when we/they travel. All of the restaurants are vetted by the Gluten Dude (who has Celiac himself). He contacts the restaurants and asks specific questions about the gluten free foods and the food preparation techniques. He leaves a very detailed description of what he learns about the restaurants. There is also a place to leave a personal review. The other great part of the app is the list of restaurants at the various airports to help find gluten free food when flying through airports. He’s constantly adding new restaurants and you can reach out if you find a restaurant that should be added. We use this app frequently

International travel
Useful app. for foreign countries especially when there is a language barrier. Celiac travel cards are helpful too. I’m using in Europe right now.

Gluten Dude is my go-to!
I hesitated for a long time to bite the bullet to pay for a GF app. I had been using some others and didn't always have the best success and found myself doing most of the work anyways to not ending up someplace that may have had little to nothing I could eat or worse, very little knowledge of my celiac needs. I should have joined sooner!!! I have had some of the best experiences since I joined and started using Gluten Dude. I have traveled to different cities and easily found safe places to grab a meal, even have had some success in airports which has been a godsend. While the amount of places in the app may at times seem limited, the fact that they have research and are vetted is priceless to a Celiac like me. I could think of some things that might make it better, but I have to say, I really have NO COMPLAINTS! Thank you, Gluten Dude!!
