love, love, love this app
I love this app!!!! Unlike Find Me GF, establishments are vetted and only vetted establishments are listed. I love that Scott, Gluten Dude creator, accepts, vets and posts appropriate suggestions. I also love his emails of his thoughts, advice and others’ experiences. They are so helpful and validating. This is hands-down the best gluten-free out there!!! Thank you so much!!! I was diagnosed in June 2022, began using this app about a year ago and became a lifetime subscriber. Despite the option of paying what you’d like or can afford, I paid the full price to help support the app. I value you, your team and this app so much. I can’t thank you enough!!! 😊

Gluten Dude is my go-to!
I hesitated for a long time to bite the bullet to pay for a GF app as I had been using some others and didn't always have the best success and found myself doing most of the work anyways of not ending up someplace that may have had little to nothing I could eat or very little knowledge of my celiac needs.
I should have joined sooner!!! I have had some of the best experiences since I joined and started using Gluten Dude. I have traveled to different cities and easily found safe places to grab a meal, even have had some success in airports which has been a godsend. While the places in the app may seem limited, the fact that they have research and are vetted is priceless to a Celiac like me.
I could think of some things that might make it better, but I have to say, I really have NO COMPLAINTS! Thank you, Gluten Dude!!

Fantastic resource
This is a fantastic resource for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. I mostly use it when traveling because I live in a rural area and already know all the safe places near me. Even as rural as I am there are a few entries. The app has airports and restaurants. The ratings have three levels, 100% gluten free, vetted by the app to understand and take care with gluten free, and user recommendations. You can filter for your personal safety level. Don’t forget the coupons for gluten free mail order places and the community interaction!!

Best GF app I’ve found yet
My celiac son and I always struggle when we travel, so I decided to try the Gluten Dude app for a Spring Break trip to see if I could give us options other than eating picnics or salads the whole trip. Even before my 7 day trial ran out, I already decided to purchase a lifetime subscription at full price because we found it THAT HELPFUL. We call our son the human gluten detector bc he gets violently ill with the slightest cross contamination, but thanks to the Gluten Dude app, we dined out safely and tried places we would never have known about otherwise. After we got home, we even found a new pizza place ten minutes from our house that almost made me cry tears of joy with how delicious it was and how seriously they take celiac. Gluten Dude’s vetting helps me understand the steps taken to keep things truly gluten free and to determine if we were comfortable with their processes ahead of time.
I’d give this app six stars if I could! I’m excited to try new places in my own backyard and across the country now.

Credible, trustworthy sources are everything to a celiac!
When you have to entrust your own health to strangers with each visit to an eating establishment, this GLUTEN DUDE app is a MUST HAVE!! Because Gluten Dude has celiac disease himself, he understands our plight just to maintain a somewhat normal existence socially! The Gluten Dude App is the best out there at making our lives easier in not only picking a restaurant that serves GF foods, but also in navigating the risks of cross-contamination too. Risks we inevitably take every time we eat out! Being a celiac himself, and also a straight shooter, he’s personally vetted many eating establishments with all the necessary questions regarding their safety protocols. While we make the ultimate decisions on whether or not to eat at an establishment, this app serves as one more layer in that confidence building. I don’t leave home without Gluten Dude in my pocket!

Gluten Free Newbie
This app has made it fun again to go out to eat. I’m fairly new to gluten-free eating and have spent the last few months eating only at home… which has gotten boring as a person who loves trying new foods. But this app has really made it easier to find gluten free options in my area. Plus I love the layout and how quick it is to find delish meals in a wide variety of places—from airports to cities to stores all over the world.
I plan to use it while traveling for work next week to explore restaurants in a new city.

Very nice designed
The only two reasons I didn’t give 5 stars:
- couldn’t find metric system preference
- membership fee a little high, but the app seems to be well maintained
I’d also like to better see the Dude’s comments when CC places.
Otherwise, seems to be the best app for celiacs.

A Must Have For Travelers!
Fantastic App! I use it regularly! One of the features I like most is being able to find a place to eat when I travel. It can be very difficult at airports for example, to locate a place to eat due to time constraints with layovers. “Gluten Dude” has places identified, scored, and located, down to which terminal they can be found, and many airports have multiple terminals! Without that information a lot of time can be wasted searching needlessly for “safe food” located in a different terminal! As someone that suffers from celiac disease himself, “Gluten Dude” knows our pain and frustration!

A Great App!
This app is very helpful for celiacs and anyone needing to avoid gluten. I like all the features but have not used much yet except the restaurant feature. I found G Dude after diagnosis in 2016 and have followed since and was happy to see the app developing. I appreciate the focus G Dude has on helping others instead of just looking for a payout. I would love to be able to add photos of meals from restaurants along with a review. I am enjoying all the updates and upgrades, thanks for all the hard work!
