Reviews of HR2VP Bike Training & Tracker

Great app!!

Been using the app with my spin bike. Use a heart strap along with a cadence sensor. Pretty awesome! Works nicely. Would love to be able to upload to garmin too.

Response from developer

Thanks, enjoy cycling indoor on your spin bike with HR2VP !

Broken

App is a joke. Zwift wont recognize the signal fully and will show you “no signal” even being connected to zwift. When trying to connect to a sensor it shows dozens of weird codes and scrolling reveals just blank pages.. screen resolution is broken, too and bottom of screen are not even fully visible. App throws weird error pops up at you, like: “1::Error Domain=kCLEErrorDomain Code=1 (null)”. What the heck does that even mean!!? Paid and cancel the very same day. Gonna test it out on my android phone but honestly they shouldnt sell it on iphone market if its broken to begin with. Apple you disappoint me by allowing an untested cr-app on your platform!

Response from developer

Hi, it is not worth trying on Android since you will probably get the same result as Zwift is the master in the connection. It works in some configurations, others not. The most important thing is not to use the connection through the Companion app. Concerning the sensors: all BLE sensors are displayed because there are some sensors which don't advertise as HR monitors, and if not all are displayed, it won't be possible to connect to such sensors. This was a feature requested by other users. You're right the sensor popup has an infinite scrolling so you will see blank at the bottom of the screen... You are the first one to report this as a potential issue. Concerning the error, I recognize that it can be confusing but this is because location permission is not granted. Either disable GPS or grant location permission and the message will disappear. It doesn't affect how the app work. The app is free to try so you don't have to pay in order to test it... If you asked for refund it is fine, you will get refunded by Apple. The best option for you would have been to contact us before writing the review, giving us more details on your setup in order to get some support. It is not too late, so feel free to do so and we'll try to find a solution.

Works as expected… but…

Like the app. Worked as described but could you please please please get a proper app designer and app developer to make a better looking app. I appreciate looks aren’t everything but it does look and feel pretty awful.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback, if you have some ideas feel free to give them to us... I know it is not the most beautiful app, even if we have alredy worked with an UX designer in order to improve it, but we are more focused on the algorithm and features today...
