  • Another game that plays itself

    At the beginning you will be undefeated then pay wall. Your units will hit their lowest damage and your opponents will hit their highest, get morale boosts, and annihilate you. Your win loose are predetermined in arena if you pay long enough you see the pattern. Your first days you are meant to be the first. Don’t think you good it’s just meant that way then the pay wall. Then they’ll keep you exactly at the level they want you so you’d pay. No skill no strategy needed you’d win easily or loose horrifically no actual even match ever found you just watch adds like an idiot. Sad what games have become

  • Unfair

    Waste of time, rewards are no where near enough to keep up with the constant increasing costs, once you hit arena 4 there’s a hard wall of difficulty to get over. Daily’s require you to spend gold but you need gold to upgrade your troops and the cost increase will slowly having you need to use more of your gold, not a good system don’t buy anything and just quit after you hit the wall

  • If you spend money you’ll enjoy this a lot more

    Definitely a throw back to Heroes of Might and Magic (with their own twists) but unless you want to spend some money, the enjoyment will wear thin quickly. Having said that, if the developers halved the prices of things, I’d would be buying a lot more.

    Worst version I’ve ever played
  • A few days of fun, then a wall

    Like many other reviews, I had a really good amount of fun in the beginning. After a few days, I hit an absolute wall where I cannot progress further. At the rate I acquire resources, I imagine it may be weeks before I can progress further unless I start paying. It satisfied my intense craving to play HOMM again, but only for a short while. I’m unlikely to continue playing.

  • Unavoidable Paywall

    This game has potential but the rewards are scaled so that you will hit an unavoidable pay wall... I quickly reached that point, and the “pay” option looks to necessitate an on-going and continually growing payment commitment... no thanks.
  • Pretty good

    Good game but need some development, need more units, heroes and spells. Gold is really hard to obtain tbh.. Overall gameplay is good
  • Both good and bad, but ads are too much

    I like the game play, it is a small subset of heroes of might and magic gameplay.

    It seems unfinished. Morale and undead is weird, creatures immune to magic are susceptible to magic cast by creatures. Once you reach arena 10 and the last map, game play gets too difficult. Upgrades now cost 100x what they started at, but rewards are around 2-3x

    You need more gems than are on the map to open up sections of the map. Don’t spend any gems for any other reason, as you will not be able to fill the map.

    The number of ads you need to watch is too many to get the “free” stuff.

    I’m about ready to ditch it, having played a week and a half.

    I still play clash of clans 7 years, but you need to keep developing the game, this game seems like it went to the market in a rush. Nothing like sitting through a whole ad, and not get the 5 gems offered.

    It is much more buggy on the iPad Air, vs iPad Pro

    It also would benefit from Game Center accounts so you could play the same game on multiple devices.

  • Great game!

    I am a huge fan of the classic heroes of might and magic series, this isn’t exactly the same but a great game nonetheless! No need to spend money if you don’t want however would like to see additional depth in the future i.e pvp, clans and the usual! Overall definitely worth 5 stars
  • Heroes of Might and Magic for your phone

    If you loved Heroes of Might and Magic, then you’re bound to enjoy this :)
