TL;DR Tinysoft stole art from at least one source, mixed genres poorly, and the game itself leaves much to be desired in all aspects
This app is so blatantly stealing the “Heroes of Might and Magic” series combat and overworked map ideas and trying to abuse them with the “Clash Royale” style loot and progression systems. There is stolen artwork from the HoMM series in here mixed in with what I assume is Tinysoft’s own art. You can easily tell which art belongs to who as anything in a low resolution or poorly detailed is art I don’t believe has been stolen while higher quality pieces and the map the overworked uses are stolen from HoMM.
The gameplay itself misses the charm HoMM had and the loot boxes and progression thankfully lack the addictive style of the Clash Royale type systems.
The menus are rather awkward to navigate as beyond visually snapping to a new screen there’s hardly any feedback you’re pressing anything. The buttons don’t flash, blink or change colour like most other modern apps do and there’s no sound upon clicking them either.
It is rather obvious someone enjoyed an older game from an era before Steam or the App Store and wanted to quickly cash in.
