Was good but now broken unless you spend!!
Everything was great until last update which broke the adverts, those with a timer break and freeze after the yo second count down, the next time is frozen at 15 seconds. You must quite and restart hoping a none count down timer advert appear if not you have to quite again retry or pay money!! Not good how to wreck a great gameShow less1 Kiwi Gal
Last (end of June 2024) update was rubbish
Your last update nullified my hero’s stats! Now I have to collect some stupid books, which are extremely scarce (clearly done to squeeze out money from players) in order to have the stats, that I have earned for the last half a year, back?! That is not ethical and fair. Game updates shouldn’t affect earned points and stats. And they definitely shouldn’t nullify them. Not only you literary brought my hero stats to zero, you increased the difficulty level for events. Now I can’t even pass the first battle in ongoing event! First bloody battle!!! Something I used to complete within just a couple of minutes. And it’s because my top hero’s stats don’t bring any value anymore thanks to your last update.

Ads Since Update
I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks now daily. Started before the most recent update. I was thoroughly enjoying this game. No actual pay walls. Very nostalgic. The ads in game WERE completely worth it. By the time to you would finish the ad, your army would be relatively healed. You could get free rewards from the store for watching one every few hours. Now every ad is broken and you can’t get any free rewards. You can’t double your rewards by watching the ads. Please fix this. This new update otherwise made an already addicting game have depth and longevity. Please fix the ads/rewards system.Show lessSgladu348
Heroes
Original game was way better way back when. This is a small part of it and poorly represented. Pretty lazy really and as with a lot of game apps this is a money grab. £100 ‘micro transactions’? Are you on crack? Game is poor too. Glass ceilings with double the number of moves for the enemy on the arenas to stop you advancing. Impossible odds in map encounters. Etc. Make a good game then reap the benefits. Don’t just rip off a classic with a half baked game. Try harder. Lots of fake 5 star reviews too. They’re massively inaccurate. One of the best
Genuinely one of the most playable games I’ve found in years. I don’t agree with the adverts issues - you can play them to heal your army or you can pay with readily-available in-game gold.
The upgrading of units combined with the fact you can keep increasing the amount of the same unit gives a constant feeling of progress as well as the fact there’s a new event every 3 days.

You can’t build your town up from scratch like the real game.
You can’t recruit a proper army. You earn random units from chests and hope to get the right units. Earned units are always in extremely low numbers. Many units are plagiarised from other series ie Balrogs.
The daily, weekly, monthly reward system REQUIRES you to BUY highly overpriced cards (chests) from their shop to achieve the "weekly reward" which is incredibly unethical and expensive.
You can buy the real game on Steam or Gog for less than $10AUS.Show lessAlanBanno

This game is fun at first but it is impossible to progress after a week or so without spending ridiculous amounts of money. Don’t get addicted.Newdad80
