App Crashes and Can’t Import PDFs
Used the original Note Plus app for years and over time more glitches/problems came up, so I decided to upgrade to NotesPlus X hoping for minimal issues and am disappointed to find this isn’t the case. The new app is even less functional than the current app. The app crashes whenever I try to delete a page from an existing notebook, or mark-up slightly large PDFs.
Also, I’m not sure if I’m missing it or not, but it seems I cannot import a PDF into an existing notebook, which is one of the main reasons I purchased the app to begin with. If this indeed a function, it is not very user-friendly.Show lessMattjoke5
Deleted notes
My notes suddenly got deleted with no way to really recover them. I want a refund for my wasted time. The tools might be decent but I only got the pro version for the higher and extra colour options. Not worth it if my notes suddenly get deleted𝙼𝚘𝚘𝚗

I've been using Notes Plus since about 2012 I believe. In my view, the handwriting/ink experience always left the competition in the dust. However, a couple years ago I switched to Notability due to some performance and sync issues I encountered with Notes Plus. I randomly thought to give it another shot, at which point I was thrilled to see the new NotesPlus X out and didn't hesitate a second give the developers another 10 bucks to give it a whirl. Wow - after using it for almost two weeks now, I would pay 10 bucks a week for this thing! This is a seriously nice piece of software: it integrates seamlessly with iCloud as a document based app (great improvement!), the handwriting engine makes Notability frankly feel like a joke, and it is just an overall pleasant, well-designed app. Keep up the great work!Show lessRyan V M

This is a new version of my former favorite note taking app. First off, Notes Plus was great so I'm sure the bugs some people have been experiencing will be taken care of - I'm just excited to be able to have Apple Pen 2 support so I can use it again. :)Otto Flux
Not as good as the original used to be
..but notes plus is super laggy now. This is smoother but the fonts don’t work when using a keyboard and the import trashes all of your historic notes plus files. A big X from me. Waste of moneyJHcup

Writing this review to inform all user that the old version of this app was just abandoned. I’m writing this review to simply express my displeasure with the developer decision. I have use NOTE PLUS app for almost ten years and I simply had all my college notes for 6 years. I was still hoping for the developer to update but after seeing this version I realized that the old app has been abandoned. My advice is if your planning to use your iPad as primary source note taking. DO NOT USE THIS app, I would rather use apple Note app. At least you can expect them to support it for a long time
The best feature this app is simply the writing. It’s extremely natural and I really enjoyed writing only on this app. First time using this app it crashed immediately after trying to change the Page Setting Measurement already disappointed. I still bought it to give the developer a second chance I’m hoping to simply get my point across. Do not abandon your apps. People use for lively hood.Show lessAntonioValencia
Paste from clipboard issues
I was excited to see the new version of Notes Plus be released. But after using it now for a month or two I would almost rather have the beta version back. My biggest issue is pasting from the clipboard. The first problem is, you cannot edit the text once it’s pasted. In the beta version you could. But the second problem has been happening just the last couple days or so. When I paste from the clipboard to the document I am unable to resize or move the object. At that point the program freezes up. I can’t get beyond this. It’s getting pretty frustrating. I might even consider using another app.Show lessToedoc
This app is my go to professional note taking tool
I am a long term user of notes plus. I am excited by the release of version X. The app has all the features for taking notes during meetings and can even convert my messy handwriting into text. The new file format is easy to use and fits with the Files format. Well done!RichEdg

Thanks for your review. - Instead of a long press, tap with two-finger will show a popup to show Closeup. This change is because it causes so much false negative where users just pause their writing and it shows Closeup.App crashes on startup
The app crashes on startup. I deleted and reinstalled. It worked (once) then the next day app would crash all over.
Notes Plus is great so I’m hopping you will have a fix soon for this version.Add. ZNRNS9
