Hard to follow
I love the idea but there is no calendar, or dates for application recommendation, doesnโt work with FL fert ban during the summer, when you complete the list a new one just pops up, and canโt undo an application if you added one on accident and more
I understand itโs beta but itโs basically just a very simple checklist.
Will keep it for updates and will use it as best I can until then :D

Rain/irrigation totals
This app is very helpful and has been beneficial to my lawn strategies. It would be super helpful if there was a way to track rainfall or irrigation totals. Something like a little rain gauge that you could add amounts too and visually see your lawns water needs over time. Just a thought, the app is amazing and look forward to future releases.

More tabs
I really do enjoy the idea behind this app, a calendar tab on the bottom would be useful so that you could actually see the days laid out instead of just saying you have X amount of days til the next app. Also adding in over seeding in the journal portion, you would just to have they type of seed thrown down. Watering times and days would also be helpful so you remember what days your watering, if it rained, if you changed the length of watering time due to drought conditions. Mowing schedule would be awesome as well, and all these come back to the calendar tab which you could access and see all of your info everyday. Just designate colored dots or lines or something for each ex: green=mow; blue=watering; yellow=fert; red=weed killer; etc. then you choose a day and it pulls up whatโs going on or what is scheduled for that day.
Another feature that would be nice is to be able to have separate sections of your lawn. Like the front and back yard, or side yard. For example if you put down grass seed in your side lawn and did not in your front lawn but did fertilize the front the same day you seeded. The next up tile would be different times for each section.

Response from developer
Vickmitt, Thank you for the review and feedback, it is very valuable. What is so cool is that most everything you said is actually on our current roadmap! Please continue to leave us feedback so we can make the app better!
Apology on behalf of complaining Canadians
The irony, I know...
While I havenโt had the chance to use all the features yet, just wanted to comment on all the negative reviews because you canโt yet use it for Canadian cities. It was never advertised as such. Itโs like complaining that your fridge doesnโt heat your food.
Iโve selected my closest state that has similar climate and will see what happens.

Ph2 - Improvements
Iโm a novice therefore certainly have a perspective as to how this seemingly high potential app can emerge into a bible that I can use through out the year.
1. Guide book on the type of grass - with Alanโs tips.
2. Expert recommendations on lawn care plans - Alanโs tips
3. Seasonal plans by location/grass type
4. Tree care. Shrub care.
5. Tool recommendations (and coupons?)
6. Products that Alan uses (the throw โem down stuff)
7. Personal plans - paid subscriptions. Ability to be able to post questions and pictures, for expert advise, recommendations and lawn care problem solving.
7. Lastly, videos on subject matters.
Hopefully that covers just about everything for newby lawn care nuts just as me.
5 stars in advance.
Thank you!

Another Cannuk canโt use the app
Would it be possible to make this wonderful app available to Canadian provinces and postal codes?

Canโt enter a Canadian address... so what about use northern guys?
Love this app
Iโm a big fan of this app. Iโm still learning about lawn care as a newbie DIYer. My favorite function is the journal function. I can record whatever I want. They have a shop option on the app but arenโt pushy about buying ONLY their products. But their products are great anyway.
Definitely a Beta
I have high hopes for this app, but my experience so far is that it is not ready to replace the trusty computer file that I use to log my annual lawn care applications. The Journal UI is clunky at best, and thus far I only have been able to create one entry as every time I try to create a second entry, it simply overwrites the first one. One additional suggestionโ add a Spreader to the application section to record the type and setting for reference.
