Puzzled the ratings aren’t HIGHER
This app does what it promises. I have taken MANY good videos using my gimbal device and the great software available to me through this particular app. The complainers, whom seem to be drawing down the rating, may not realize that many “prized” features are in the Premium package. Just because you bought the gimbal doesn’t mean you get all the software features they create as well. The Premium account is also affordable, compared to so many other products. You can get great videos with the free software they offer alone. Thank you Zy Cami 🙏🏻. With respect. 🫡

Why no 1/48 Shutter Speed
The app is great and largely has everything you would want and need but I just don’t understand why given all the options there isn’t the option to set your shutter speed to 1/48 when your shooting at 24fps to achieve the 180º rule when shooting.
Just Chinese templates ?
So I did the subscription so I could get all that bla bla bla you advertise and then not a single template don’t have Chinese letters on it? Really? So why am I spending money on a subscription? For what? Returning the gimbal as this is completely useless , also how that heck I can’t remove zy cami watermark after subscribing premium?

App is unstable
I really want to love this product. The gimbal itself seems really stable and nicely thought out. The app on the other hand seems really low quality and has already begun crashing on me on load, despite rebooting my phone or reinstalling the app. Already lost great footage on a first try with recording in the app. Super disappointing. It just crashes midway through the clip. No idea why.

Horrible device giving it back
Be very careful device once your location in order to activate a piece of hardware “the gimbal” there is no reason for a Chinese app to request your location in order to activate a piece of hardware. Returned!
Major Audio issues. Zhiyun READ this!!
iPhones have a rear facing microphone by the camera lenses that is meant to be used when recording video. Why is your app forcing audio to be recorded from the front facing microphone? This wouldn’t work for anybody recording a subject or even vlogging cause the audio is recording to the wrong microphone. Native iOS camera app links to the correct microphone when recording so why can’t you l? Hohem app at least records to the proper mic. This is a HUGE issue for anybody who is a serious filmmaker. Please fix this with a software update.

Seriously, buying kit then getting stiffed for software is like selling a car and charging you an annual fee for the engine.
Not worth down loading
This is rubbish. You have to agree to 3 different policy’s to open the app. Then it won’t work without location being on. Then once you have done all that you still can’t use it unless you register. What a joke I only wanted to use it to calibrate my gimbal so I guess I’ll be sending it back and going with a better product. Don’t waist your time downloading this app.
