This app won’t work unless you grant it access to your photos. I get that it needs to be able to have access to the library because it’s shooting photos and needs a place to put photos taken with the app. There is no reason why they have to see anything I’ve shot previously. There is no reason why they need to have access ANYTHING I’ve shot!Show lessfrankbarbie
App is pretty unusable
The guided recording is great until it crashes on you and you have no way to get back into it other than to start all over even though you have the shots saved.
Templates are unusable as you can’t change anything in them! Audio is preset and is all Asian, as is the text.halo83782
I Can’t Rotate Into Portrait Mode
I love the app, it’s gotta the job done several times in the past. However, one of my favorite features seems to be gone and it’s the ability to switch into portrait mode shooting. I make a lot of reels and tik toks for my job I used to use this for doing so, but now I can’t even get it to rotate. 2 stars because I can’t easily find any solution and I lost a few jobs already because of it.Show lessSenoralec

Vibration during video recording
Hi, the app is worth it please, using the app you can't use the stabilizer and the picture is very shaky in the shooting position.ImanKm
It’s getting better!
Taking all in to account, I have a couple different model gimbals and they are quite brilliant. I can’t recommend them enough, easily the best bang for your buck, without question! I use the Smooth Xs pretty often and you think a 2-axis gimbal couldn’t be so versatile, but it’s more than what the casual and amateur videographer needs! Simple, reliable, durable. Check-check-check!
Now the app has its flaws but surprisingly gets better. Certainly better than other brands in my opinion and the amount of features you get is surprising and if they continue to make the improvements with very limited to no sequence modules or video save crashes it would easily be a solid 4 star or a light but worthy 5 star companion app! And I would definitely sign up for the annual membership to take advantage of additional features!
Oh yeah I remembered...please make signing up for new users more accurate and streamlined. It was frustrating how I didn’t know if I signed up correctly or not because the APP and the Server were not getting it. Please fix the UX. But, thanks for making improvements to the app! Focus stopped working
The focus knob recently stopped working. And I’m loosing audio from my videos. Please fix the app!!!!pauly1221

Let’s be honest. The product works amazing. The app is really bad. It’s crazy how I use this to record a lot out in public and sometimes I turn it off so it doesn’t waste battery. Then when I turn it back on most of the videos I take after words if not all of the videos have no audio. Does anyone know how to fix that? Is the audio able to be recovered? That kills it all for me. Now I’m start just using the regular iPhone camera. I didn’t know that was a possibility.Show lessEddeleonn
Update issue
My gimbal stopped working when I updated through my phone (13Pro Max). Now it won’t turn on and all the modes just blink. When I unplug from the charger, the PF blinks red. It has been charging for weeks, so that shouldn’t be an issue. Support has been no help.Hit Giirrl48
Forget the privacy and use this app!
The gimbal is cool but by using this app you don't have any privacy, it doesn't let you record without full access to all of your photos and your location (and it should be on or it doesn't let you in), why?! Im surprised Apple gave permission to app like this .Palmary+
