Photos and Videos have location
App works great only thing I don't like is the pictures and videos have taken from the app have location in them. Please add the location feature into the app settings.
Cool hardware, disappointing software
I set up a 4k recording on the Zhiyun Smooth 5 professional stabilizer with an iPhone. For some reason, the nice clear 4k 30FPS video would go green and grainy for a few seconds and then back to normal.
It frankly ruined a lot videos of the musicians I was recording.
Why we can’t use good hardware without this shoddy poorly designed “supporting” software.
I really hope this gets resolved - it’s a truly terrible experience to find your videos ruined AFTER the fact…

Remote only with prime membership
Seriously what is it about your gimbals you give abilities only if people purchase a membership that isn’t even available to purchase.
Offering the ability to remote control the device that you purchased for over $200 with a locked out ability until you purchase a membership is already ridiculous…
On top of that, it doesn’t even work or give you the ability to purchase it in the first place for the 5s honestly, I am seriously considering returning and never doing business with your company again.
Everyone else is gives you the ability to use their gimbal to their full potential with the purchase of their gimbals except your company.
I will be creating a review of your product line to warn people.

Make sure you turn off "precise" location so they can't track you location

Holy crap is it bad…
Buying a gimbal that says can do tracking, yet constantly decides halfway through tracking that a keyboard looks like a cat, or a vase looks like someone’s face, or a shoe looks like a person…
Then comes the insane amount of pushing in app subscriptions…yes, I want to give you more money after wasting my time on this POS…
Also, why is like 1/3 of your English version app written in Mandarin? I understand it’s a Chinese based company, but having parts of terms and other aspects written in mandarin seems very questionable. Surprisingly, being able to read mandarin, I was able to read through and while there weren’t any alarming aspects from what I saw, it begs the question why isn’t it all in English?
One thing that did stand out however, are the terms and conditions. If you thought Facebook’s terms were invasive… WoW… these are straight up dystopian…
Then, in the little time I actually got to use this junk, is the fact that it just up and decides to freeze up and crash consistently.
Avoid this app at all costs. Sadly, while the gimbal is decent enough, the fact that not using this app disables a good portion of the basic features, making even the hardware difficult to recommend… Thanks for wasting my time ZhiYun… you made it SUPER easy to make me dissuade people from buying your products as well as to leave a similar review on several YouTube reviews that suspiciously give it overwhelmingly positive reviews, even within their tutorials…

Doesn’t work with iPhone 13 Pro
Used a Zhiyun smooth 4 smartphone gimbal for many years on my iPhone 8 Plus. After upgrading my phone, nothing but Bluetooth connection issues with all Zhiyun apps available in the App Store. So now I’m forced to buy a newer Zhyiun gimbal because I can’t resolve the Bluetooth issues and no way to get support from Zhiyun ? I Dont think do. Researching other brands and will never look back.

Total trash app
The timed super unnecessary security protocols on first time login is worse than my banking app. Yo developer I am not opening a bank account here! No one want this app without your first purchasing your steady cam device, it is just a device app. Menu fiction key blares music at you when you select it, not the thing you want to have happen in a recording situation. Cam app likes to fixate on things you not recording. This could be an awesome app but, developers lost focus on what’s important (like the steady cam and menu functions) and chose unnecessary Fort Knox security and focused frivolous add-ons I will never use. It is just a device app, get over yourselves.

Can’t get English on the app and the Bluetooth won’t link the device to my phone. Amazon needs to get its sales people sorted. This is now the third item I will be sending back on the bounce v
