I’ve been using franki for a while now, and it has completely transformed how I discover new food and drink spots. Whether I’m in the mood for something local or looking to explore a new area, franki always has the best recommendations. I especially love how easy it is to find top-rated businesses with detailed video reviews from other users.
The new rewards program is also such a great addition! It really motivates me to try out new places and share my experiences. Plus, the more I post and engage, the more rewards I earn, which is an amazing bonus. Franki truly makes dining out more fun and rewarding. I love using Franki to post videos of places that I eat at! It’s great that they actually reward you for posting content unlike a lot of other food review or social media apps out there. I did have to take off 1 star just because the search function could use some more work and I think that a lot of restaurants are still not listed on the app, but the app is still quite new, so I can’t really complain too much, and I’m sure the devs are working hard to get more restaurant spots listed so that they cover all the foodie options out there in the world. The app is definitely stretching my creative muscles by making me post more unique videos.Show less852926006

franki brings in very familiar user interfaces, and combines them in a way that is engaging and insightful! Rather than just reading text reviews, you also have video evidence of these visits from local foodies that help you decide where to go next! With food options on every corner, it makes an indecisive decision maker crumble. If you’re anything like me, visuals are everything. Seeing a POV experience from others helps determine my final decision. This app is niche in the sense it’s not going to be buried with all other types of content this is strictly about one purpose: where is the next food joint I must check out. I was skeptical about this at first because a lot of apps these days that mention getting paid are a scam. Franki is legit though. No strings attached. For a local foodie this has been working out great for me. If you have content and you want to share it with the works and get paid for doing so then this is the app for you. Not for the weak
This is a good app for foodies! The old users on the app though , some of the users once they see a new foodie rising then it’s on! You need to be careful, people create fake pages and harass others they notice are doing good on the app so as to have them kicked off! They’ll give you advise that will have you banned from the app! Be careful because administrators listen more to them than to a newbie ! There’s little collaboration as everyone feels a new person is stealing from them . This app is the newest way to get restaurant recommendations. From watching videos to asking a local directly, this platform gives people the opportunity get real and genuine recommendations. If you’re not on Franki yet, download it immediately! This is basically Instagram for restaurant/bar recommendations with videos from locals so you can get real reviews and a true feel for a place before you go. The app has a bunch of cool features to make things even easier such as filters for the type of food or vibe you’re feeling, map view so you can browse in specific locations (with distance from where you are included), and even an option to put out a recommendation request for exactly what you’re looking for and get answers from other users. If you’re in to creating content, there’s also “gigs” you can submit video entries to for a place you’ve tried and get money back!Show lesshannahbarton

As someone who is a huge foodie, I used to struggle to find places to eat ALL the time. I absolutely despise Yelp because I feel like the reviews are never accurate (mainly just angry customers who want free things or had one bad experience). When I was introduced to franki, I got hooked! Being able to actually see the restaurant via video, and hear what people truly think about the establishment they are filming/eating at made it so much easier to decipher if I wanted to try that place or not!
