Fun app and great community!
I initially started making food videos on instagram as reels and then I found this app. It’s basically a combo between the foodie space of IG + Yelp. I love making food videos and trying new places to eat and this gives me the perfect outlet to do so. The app has also grown a lot and incorporated new things like recommendations and contests. The best part is the gigs and their franki locals fund, you can get paid for videos you upload and for the interaction it receives. They’ve also organized meet ups or spotted tickets for awesome food events where people can meet up. Great app and I only see it continuing to grow!Show lessdazzled (:
More local recommendations
I've enjoyed using the app so far over other local recommendation apps. The content is more informative and digestible than reading reviews with out-dated photos. I will say the app is more helpful in bigger cities as there's more pre-existing entries. I do like to use it when traveling and the added incentives are a great bonus if you're a content creator or foodie!Show lessrachelfbabyy

I’m so happy I discovered Franki! I’ve been able to find many hidden gems in LA I wouldn’t have known about otherwise, and it’s also encouraged me to start editing videos posting about my experience. Well, I realized how much I enjoy it so now I’m having a blast taking vids every time I go out to eat just because of Franki. So excited to see where this app goes!Show lesshanalulu124

This app is a great place for foodies to decide where to eat and earn a bit of money! As a foodie, I have so many videos in my camera roll and with this app, with just posting a video, I can earn a couple bucks. They have many features on the app to help decide what to eat. For example, you can just ask what type of cuisine and area you want and there will be other foodies to recommend you a spot! You can check videos posted by other foodies to see how the food and ambiance is for a restaurant!Show lessKatn5

I love this app! It allows you to see reviews by real people without wondering if it’s a fake review since all the reviews are videos and not just words. The app is easy to use and navigate. Everyone on the site is friendly and willing to give honest opinions. Make sure to download the app to start reviewing great recommendations! I love the idea of this app, incorporating a dynamic form of media to discover food! I love the community and the ability to discover new places and recommend places that I enjoy. There are many small areas that can be improved in UI, and ways to interact with other users and notifications can be improved, as well as posting restaurants that are not listed on the app. However, the app team that I have worked with have always been very professional, prompt and very helpful!Show lessmatt from cali

I need to use this app more often. It pays you to post! I make sure to get videos of when I dine out…or check out a new museum…etc. It even allows us to post videos created from other sites without issue. That makes the upload easy. They have Gigs, which are contests that allow you to win extra money, outside of you just posting a vid. There’s also additional money from likes, comments, shares and folks signing up by using your link. AND they pay out monthly. AND Gigs pay out as soon as you win!!! Easy money!Show lessThat Tre

Franki gives users the opportunity to locate restaurants in the area they are visiting. Yes- it sounds like Yelp, but reviews are available with video images, giving the user a more realistic feel for the place. The I formation is collected by foodies or food enthusiasts.
