Glitchy with no fix

The content is phenomenal, but the app is super glitchy and has been for at least six months and seems no one can fix it. The meditations get stuck in a day and they don’t change unless you log out and in but when you do that then it does not recognize and asks to start your subscription, meaning pay again ! So you have to delete the app then install again then sign in and then it recognizes that you have a subscription and then the meditations change for that day. By the time you do all that you don’t want to meditate because at least me I am all flustered as it has been six months and I tell and tell and nothing changes !
Maybe they are trying for one to cultivate patience ??? But for me does not work. We all pay for a functional app to calm and meditate not to get frustrated!!!

No access

have not been able to get into the app that I paid for twice, since December. An app that I truly love by the way. I’ve sent screenshots etc. to support I’ve been told you do not see my gmail account and only my old aol account. Yet, I get daily emails sent to my gmail account. I go on to the app that welcomes me by name but yet all of the wonderful messages and meditations are locked requiring me to sign up and pay yet again. As patient as I have been, this has taken way too long and I have spent hard earned money that no one at this company seems to care to rectify. It is now going on 3 months of no access. Please fix the issue or refund ALL of my money. Namaste 🙏🏾

Please be sure you are updated to the newest version of the app version 1.5.8. One month after the update…

I’ve been happily using this app for many years and it’s become part of my morning and evening routine. Since 1 January 2024 I’ve not been able to connect with any of my meditations or access my programmes. Now, following the most recent fix I cannot listen to anything on the app. So disappointing…

Buggy: updates have not fixed the problems

Update: The updates are still not working and I have deleted and reinstalled the app 3 times. Although the paid meditations appear to be back within the app, the meditation counter is still not working, the meditations don’t end automatically at the end of the session and they don’t count toward the days or minutes in meditation. For $70 a year, this is unacceptable.

The latest update shrinks all of the displayed text, and at the end of a meditation, doesn’t automatically end out of the meditation, causing you to have to end manually and therefore doesn’t count the meditation time. It ends up canceling my streak and not counting my meditation. Not to mention that all of my purchased meditations are now missing. We’re talking hundreds of dollars worth of meditations! This needs to be fixed ASAP! The previous version was far superior to this.

App is focused on selling

The way the app is organized is rather disappointing. While Chopra undoubtedly has several wonderful meditation series that can be purchased, once you purchase them, to use them on the app, you are forced to scroll all the way to the bottom of your home page, traveling through the next items that chopra is trying to sell you! It would be much better to allow easy access the things you already purchased and place them at the top of the homepage. The Mission of Chopra and the Chopra Center is honorable; however, the developers of the Chopra app are not client focused, they simply want to sell you more stuff! There is room for significant improvement with some very minor changes by simply coming from a customer service focused frame of mind. The simple question should be asked, what could benefit the customer the most? Rather than the curtain frame of mind, which is, “what can we sell them next?”

Enlightenment starts with leading by example and I encourage the Chopra app design staff to listen to what Chopra teaches, so they can do a better job on future app design updates.

Not working properly

I understand that there have been updates with the app which have caused subscriptions not to be recognized or work properly but even with the new update I am unable to access my downloaded meditations without the app constantly crashing. Also, since the most recent update the app will not track any completed meditations.

Need to update app

I love this app but the new update of January 2024 is missing a way to go forward and backwards in the recording while the ipad is closed. The only way to do it is opening up the app and pressing the forward and backwards 15 icons. This is very annoying. I used to be able to do it while the app was closed. Also it doesn't track what i have already listened to. I have to manually track the session of what I have already heard to choose the next session. Also, The heart icon is missing from the recording when you are actually listening to it. In order to show as a favorite i have to close the recording open it again then press the heart icon before starting the session.

New version not loading
Very very annoying

Dysfunctional app

I paid for the annual subscription, but haven’t been able to access any content. The app gives me error messages every time I click on restoring my subscription info, so all the content I have already pre-paid for an entire year’s worth remains locked. Paying for an entire 12 month subscription up-front, is the only option you are given by this shady app in order to access any meditation in its completion…or so it deceives you to believe, because, even if you pay the 12 month subscription, you’ll still be locked out of the content.

The 1-week trial period is a joke, as it doesn’t give you access to a complete meditation course. The service support is MIA. Maybe one day, they’ll show signs of existence and respond to the multiple issues with this technologically terrible app. There are so many great meditation apps out there. It’s really not worth wasting your money, time and energy getting frustrated over this non-working app.

Starting out

Just two days into using this app and I have to say it so good. Have done two of the daily meditations and they are nothing like I have heard before. I find I am connecting with it so much more than others I have tried before.
