Worth every penny and more
I was and still am the person that hates paying for apps. The daily meditations that play by Devi Brown and Roger Gabriel are worth the money and more! Every single day it’s like taking a spiritual bath and cleansing your soul before you start the “brutal” world out there.
There are meditations for just about any topic that you are experiencing and Deepak really knows what he’s talking about regardless of who believes it. Let me tell you when I say if you are paying for anything, it might as well be this annually.
I am just coming up on a year of daily meditations and haven’t fully dived into all the personalized meditations but it’s single handily been one of the best things to happen in my life; hearing beautiful, peaceful, wonderful words and new perspective into your ears and heart in usually less than 10 minutes is so practical and needed in anyone’s life.
Also it’s really common language and terms so almost every meditation is something you can show any stranger or family member and they would understand, it’s not “ra ra” or “woo woo”.

What to expect
Been a purchaser of the 21 day meditations and a follower of Chopra. This app is buggy-buggy to a frustrating point that in truth, seems to defeat the purpose of meditating.
Here’s what you will encounter:
Not many meditations with Chopra.
App will forget you are a subscriber and lock you out frequently. (Keep refreshing the app to solve)
App won’t remember your last “place” in a series.
(I’ve had it for 4 months and it is stuck on what I did on day 2 of usage.)
Sometimes the app will take your subscription $$ but still not allow you in. (Contact customer service and eventually they will say to reinstall the app.)
Your prior purchases won’t be in the app. You will be directed to the website to listen to those.
Searching for anything is difficult and not at all designed intuitively.
Your choice. Insight Timer has none of these issues. I come to Chopra for a different vibe every once in a while and keep the frustration to a minimum.
Last note: several of these issues have been going on for 2 years or more per other reviews, with promises to fix. Just remember to “stay peaceful in your core” and I suggest the mantra “Om” for the familiar “something went wrong” message.

Focus
The Chopra app supports me to set up my day and provides me with intentional purposeful focus
Great App BUT…
I personally use and also recommend the FREE TO LOVE 21 day meditation to my wellness center clients. BUT… the app has its challenges that can make it unpleasant to use. It can be very difficult for my clients to find the Find and access the FREE TO LOVE MEDITATION series. The app also makes it extremely difficult to share this meditation… which in my opinion is the best meditation program on the app. Depak should get with his team to fix these problems. We don’t need more stress in our lives when we try to share and promote something we love. 5 stars for the FREE TO LOVE MEDITATION PROGRAM… 2 stars for the ease of use for the Chopra App.

What is going on? So many bugs :(
I’ve used chopra since 2020 and have paid for the full subscription twice which is not easy to do financially but I feel like it is a life investment for my day to day peace of mind.
After months of consistent bugs, not loading favourites sessions and constant errors, I am finally unable to log in. I am told my user does not exist. I should still have 5 days on my subscription and I can’t even reset my password or log in to my account :( there were no notifications the subscription was ending and regardless my accounts should not have been terminated! It’s such an expensive app to be having these issues…. So so so sad about this as I would have liked to review my renewal options before my account just told me I no longer exist.

Fantastic app
I’ve just been able to use the free medications as I’m not in a financial position to subscribe and pay for a year, I enjoy them hugely, I did around 170 days streak and I felt amazing and everyone should know about meditation like it was the best kept secret!! I’ve had a long break of about 8 months and I’ve felt terrible in that time but I’m back on it now ☺️ feeling the benefits already. I just wish I could afford to subscribe if it could be a monthly payment it would help spread the cost?

Since then I have been learning with Chopra I have read and study 7 laws of spiritual success and I am very aware of the laws in my every day life. Also lately I have found the Meditation the Secret of Healing is to illuminate and that is knowing that we are the universe. I have being practicing and promoting this meditation. Now I see life and all the events from other Gods perspective. Thank-you Depak and Staff for enreaching my life so much. I Started my spiritual philosophy when I was Born, then with Serge Reynauld de la Ferrire, my mom,my great spiritual teachers, also in the indegeneous Native cultures and Depak have had a great influence in my conscience waking up. Had no idea that I would have found such a wonderful experience of Peace! We all can learn! Can’t wait to continue learning with the Chopra Foundation because it have a lot to offer that can take the stress level down by teaching us methods we can share with one another. There are too many great Americans leaving this world by his/her own hands or another method of choice. We can help bring this type of sadness to a complete stop by learning how we can really help each other in life. I had surgery April 2022 and was told it was major. I have to continue with follow-ups with my doctor. My daughter saved my life by having me to get checked out. I have volunteered and helped along with others for years. Now, we as loving and caring people have to learn how we can help those in need. I plan to continue to learning as much as possible and help as many people as I can.

Loving this app
I love the quality of Deepak’s voice and that he features so much in the sessions. This app feels so supportive to me, it offers exactly what I want right now and has a wonderful range of options which suit the changing landscape of my life. Thank you for making it both accessible and high quality. The programs sequence beautifully and the sessions are concise. I’m really enjoying getting to know the different practitioners and their styles.

Difficult to cancel subscription.
I liked the app for a while but it started getting redundant with no new material.
I have tried canceling but they are no longer on the iphone subscriptions which is not good. Why did they remove it? Now
I dont know where to go and the app does not give you a notice before it takes your money away. Not acceptable.
What's going on? If they would make it easy to cancel, I would have given it 5 stars.
As I am trying to summit this, it asks for nickname. I tried dif forms of "refund" and all are taken. I think it says it all.
