Impressed!
Probably the fairest use of coins/gems I’ve seen in a game. They’re both easy enough to get if you go back and play previous levels. I also enjoy how each new hotel introduces new challenges, but always achievable. I never spend real money on games and games which require you to do so in order to progress get the immediate delete treatment from me - I was expecting this to be one of them, but I’ve been playing for a month or so now and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I also love games which only require you to watch ads if you request it/are rewarded for it. I vary rarely give reviews (and if I’m honest, that’s mostly to suggest improvements/to explain why I’m deleting in a moment of frustration), but I’ve been so impressed with this game that I was inspired to say something. I loved this game the first several levels. Once I got to the second section of hotels to the Royal Flower Hotel the upgrades are filled 100% you can not win the levels without spending lots of extras. Even when you use the upgrade that speeds up the main characters, at least 10 of the firecracker keep you happy and 10 of the Genie Lamp clean the rooms you can not even finish the level let alone fulfill all the tasks required to pass the level.
The graphics are beautiful and it does play well but it is difficult after the very first hotel Golden Apple to go very far without a bunch of upgrades or gems. Through the other hotels I was just patient and kept playing but now that I am in the Hotel Royal Flower it is just impossible to finish levels in this hotel to progress to the next hotel. The bellhop is faster in the very first level Golden Apple Hotel than he is in the Royal Flower Hotel.
I got this game because it reminded me of one that I had purchased from the Apple App Store that was on the very first iPad. I loved that game! No in game purchases! You played the game you purchased. If you wanted more levels you could purchase additional pack of levels as well. What I loved most is I could go back and replay all the levels whenever I wanted. Also it was a little challenging but not frustrating and impossible. I play games to relax, have fun and enjoy my off time.Show lessShelly Brylie

I really enjoy this game. Engaging, entertaining, good to look at and nice quick game play. What I really don’t like is the way the use second chance opportunity is set up. This is the second time I’ve been distracted while playing and inadvertently hit the ‘use second chance’ OK button. Bang, 20 gems gone. When there was no way I could win the episode even with the bonus applied. Such a pretty game and this is really a badly (or meanly) designed feature.Show lessPollygirlgames

Really like the game but too many gems are needed all the time. And when you lose a level it’s too easy to accidentally press continue and have the game rob you of 20 gems.Aug hdbdhdbf

This game is truly addictive. I do agree with the other reviews. I’m only one person and sometimes you are having to go back and forth with Tom and receptionist and it makes it too hard to be able to beat the levels. Like one level, not only am I cleaning rooms, delivering food, etc but I’m having to checking, check out, and call taxis. Seems a little extreme. More gems for beating levels needs to happen. Lastly what is up with getting the genie lamp? It does absolutely nothing. It’s supposed to clean rooms automatically for you but it is useless and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. So if anyone knows or has clarification on this, please let me know cause I keep getting it as a reward for beating a level, but it doesn’t do a thing for me. Is that more for upper levels?? I would ask on the game, but the settings doesnt have a faqs section either. Answered questions need to be included somewhere on settings like it is with other games so we have something to reference.Show lessLCFBNF
Level 40
I’ve tried so many times to pass level 40 but keep getting 10 smiles and not 11 I feel like it’s rigged and doing it on purpose making me use all my boosters up and gems it shouldn’t be this hard when I passed all the other levels easier than this last one!alana j hika573

I’ve played pretty much most dash games out there and this one is the most fair in terms of rewards and gems and coins you need for upgrades. It’s not super easy where you just get a ton of coins and gems to spend on upgrades where there is no challenge but I LOVE that. I love a game where I might need a few tries to get good enough to pass a level or play a bit more to get enough gems to upgrade something. But even once you move on to new hotels, you can go back to previous ones and play the ones you’ve mastered to get more gems if needed. And in this latest version they added even more ways to get helps on each level. Although I’ve passed all current hotels without using helps (just upgrades) because I like a bit of challenge. You honestly do not need to spend a penny to pass all levels, although I did spend a bit because I love to support great apps.
The only quirk that initially irritated me in this game was when you lose a level, it brings up a window with only button as OK and x in top right corner. With previous games, you just end up hitting it quickly without always reading or remembering that here, if you hit OK, it takes 20 gems to extend the level. So I’ve wasted some gems when I did not mean to but after that I’ve learned and just clicked x to close out the box. Outside of this, there are no weird crashes or ignored “clicks” like some dead spots

I love this game before the update where I was able to receive plenty of boosts and gems after completing 5 levels but now, I get tokens and 1 measly gem. How are we to upgrade off 1 gem? I was geeked about how you had gems provided and didn’t mind purchasing extra gems on top of what was given but now the game make me feel like you’re only doing 1 gem per 5 level completion to force us to buy more gems and boosts. Please go back to the old way and I’m more inclined to purchase gems and boosts that way.
Another issue is if I wanted to keep playing on an objective I did not complete, 20 gems is a bit much for only 3 players to complete the level. I can see maybe 3-5 gems to complete the level but 20 takes a lot of gems away and again, forces you to have to purchase gems. Good game, especially to keep my mind off things during this ‘demic we all are experiencing but it is becoming a bit like you only want us to play to spend money every 30 mins. Levels are 3:30 long but somehow I’m supposed to service 14 guests and get 50 likes when the last guest checks out with 1:15 on the clock. The game impossible without power ups and spending money.Jeffmarsden4
