I’m enjoying how assessable it is being able to understand books from my phone. I’m honest with people that I haven’t read the whole book but I’m still able to engage with people on the subject and quote some really cool people which gives them credit but also I feel it gives my discussion more credit too.Show lessidontbs

Love the 5 minute book summaries with audio. The app summarises books into 3 key insights which are well explained and each have a ‘take action’. These really help me learn. Lots of content to choose from, the recommendations and daily streak counter keep me inspired.Show lessQrendi legend

I am so thrilled by this app. By being able to learn so many things in a short length of time saves me so much extra time. I’ve had tons of these books on my TBR but I haven’t been able to get to them because of the time it takes to get through an entire book. This app is helping me learn and gain knowledge in various subjects and saving me time in the process. Also, I love the variety of literature in this app. My favorite app so far. Uptime has gotten me into books in less than an hour. I can barely put down a book without thinking about it now (in a good way). I have ADHD and Uptime has made reading less confusing to me and it’s made me love books. I can read a lot faster now and it’s only been day 1 of using this app. I have read 4 books and have learned at least 50 things from the books I have read. Uptime also has a pause button just in case you can’t read fast enough and if you don’t want to read it you can listen to it too.Show lessTiahbe

Lovely App But Repetitive
I love this app so much that I purchased a yearly membership. But there is only one problem with it. Many of the books' insights can be very repetitive. It's as if they keep repeating passages. I contacted support about it, and they stated positively that they do this on purpose to instill the lessons, but they sometimes go too far. Instead of repeating the same passages, try adding new ones. They already quiz you on what you read on a daily basis, so that is a great way to instill the lessons. But that is my main gripe about the app. Repeating passages almost appears to be the easy, lazy way to put together a book. Aside from that, I have learned a lot in a short amount of time, so I guess you could say it is still worthwhile.Show lessCspain11

I subscribed just over a year ago and used it for a few months. Eventually all the content started to blend together, there is only so much depth possible with the short summary format.
The service surprised billed me a year later, with no warning. And they refuse to refund.Jonathon Mah
Pretty good but web based cancellation problematic
Quite a good app but never really had the chance to take full advantage of it. They also seem to be expanding their catalogue.
Be warned though - if you take out subscription via their website (which generally allows you to get a better subscription rate) they do NOT send you a reminder that your subscription is renewing. This means that in my case, I was stung with a full year’s subscription (they sent me an email the same day that the subscription auto renewed). I asked for a refund on the same day, having deleted the app, and was promptly told “no refunds for web subscription”.

Doesn’t hold up in it’s selling point
I think the main reason this app made me download it is the ability to go over flash cards and learn. The design looked really good along with the flash cards I thought it will be a game changer but unfortunately it’s very surface level with the flash cards just asking you if you can remember it, if they find it way to engage active recall and ask you an open question to remember something I’ll gladly pay money for it.Show lessnabuccanezzar
