Love the Tend staff. The clinicians are very informative, kind and thoughtful. Online booking system is also a breeze!

Terrible app terrible service
Too many frustrating interaction with the app and customer service. The latest one being I booked an appointment for 12:50 and they called me at 12:15 and I didn’t get the call. They’ve now cancelled my 12:50 and charged me for the appointment. There must be a glitch with the app. When re booking for tomorrow I couldn’t write properly in the notes box.

Worst app ever
Hard to know where to go for what you want, also your reception girls don’t answer the phone and are rude in person, I really don’t like tend, standards have surely slipped since taking over but the hype about how good you are has increased. Nurses are slow if any are in. Only stay because of Lorraine.

Not great!… Every time I've seen a doctor… Every time I have had blood test etc… Every time I've waited for results… I have had to chase I've had to follow up I have had to constantly what is going on. – Not great

Ji-Young is kind, empathetic and always goes the extra mile to check in and research to help my conditions. She’s the best doctor I’ve ever had!
NZ Health System is in shambles
Forgot to put my name sticker on a sample I provided. Cost me a days pay to go give the sample and then I didn’t get any results and have to go back again costing more in time and associated expenses. I wanted to use the app for convenience but doctors and nurses both a bit scatterbrained and don’t give timely referrals to specialists, write incorrect notes that need to request edits, lose samples, don’t provide lab results in a timely fashion (call but don’t provide them in writing without multiple requests). Not changing this review unless service standards improve. If any business needs to be told “do your job” it’s this one.

Terrible customer service and sarcasm
A month after they've been sent my Radiology reports I have still not been able to get an answer on a simple question asked: "Have you received the report and is there anything I need to be concerned about."
I've enquired at about 10 day intervals and have only been offered lies about not receiving the report and sarcasm.
Trying to escalate via email remains unanswered.

Commodifying our health requirements and getting it wrong
Sure tend is fine for a rash here and a sniffle there but lord forbid you need urgent care or a mental health consultation. Its a nightmare to get your assigned GP or any GP for that matter. Also once you’re registered with them you can’t walk in to any doctors surgery apart from a white cross which costs a lot more.
TLDR: if you need the ease of an appointment under short notice, do not use Tend
