Simple and lightweight
I’ve been looking for a lightweight read later app that doesn’t try to push any recommendations or none sense. I just needed a simple list that synced across iOS/iPadOS/macOS. Abyss fits the bill. Even better that it syncs via iCloud and doesn’t require any account signup!
love the app!
Great way to bookmark and store articles. Love the import from Pocket option (pulls in your custom tags from Pocket as well!). My only critique is I wish there was a way to highlight and annotate articles inside the app.
Great app
Simple but really effective app. It would be great to be able to select which browser to view in - Firefox rather than Safari
macOS 11 only?
Is there a reason why this application is suddenly macOS 11 only?
-Still giving it 5 stars for the concept and usefullness, but macOS 11 only is rather odd...

The reason is because I'm a single dev with a single Mac that currently runs Bug Sur, therefore I'm focusing all my efforts in making sure that works fine on the latest macOS version where I can test it every day. Versions below 1.9 will still run fine on Catalina though.
Has potential, iPad and Mac versions could use additional features
I've been looking for a Pinboard replacement for a while and tried out Raindrop.io and now Abyss. The app does what it says it does and it does it well: syncing is robust and the app is solid.
I'd like to see the app get more features, especially the iPad and Mac versions. For example, I'd love to see the new iPad OS sidebar come to the iPadOS version. It would be also nice to have bulk editing.
The Mac app feels like a basic port of the iPad app, so it would be great to see some Mac-specific features come to the app, such as dark mode.

I love it
Hey there. I love your app. Do not stop updating. I was searching something that has note options ok links and by far simple for recipes summary is amazing. I will user it. Btw when i automate read mode on some sites it cuts some sections which are readable only when switch to web view
5 stars
GREAT app! Finally something simple to use. Thank you!
Liking this already!
And hoping for that bulk edit feature, whereby I could save all for offline viewing, and leave Pocket behind. I love Llitgi on iOS and would love to see that added in some way, even if it were a separate app. I'd pay for it.
