  • Good to Great!!

When I began using the app, it was good but it was a bit buggy/glitchy. I soon discovered that the developers were VERY attentive to feedback. I have seen several improvements as a direct result of the aforementioned feedback! Kudos to the Team for that! Overall the app is GREAT! In the past I have used other apps to learn and maintain languages. I speak 7 languages fluently and crave learning new ones. This app fills those cravings by allowing me to keep up on my Spanish. Thank you for the improvements that have taken Jumpspeak from good to GREAT!!
  • Helps with Spanish class

I’m a freshman and I’m taking Spanish for the first time. I signed up for this app to help me. So far it’s been fun to use and it’s been helping.
  • great app to start learning Spanish

I love the app , it’s simple and easy to use and have categories about learning Spanish from zero to hero.
  • Very interactive and engaging

Jumpspeak uses very realistic scenarios and language that helps with your conversation skills. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn to speak Spanish more fluidly.

  • A fun way to learn Spanish

This app makes learning Spanish interactive and fun. You’re having a conversation with feedback features to review and improve pronunciation. I’ll be using this a lot more to brush up on my Spanish.
  • Great tool to learn Spanish

I recently started using this app and I like it. It is different in a good way. Although, it has lessons, I don’t see it as a courses and lessons app; it has a chat-like theme and I feel like I am talking to a real person and learning the Spanish I would hear if I visited a latin american country.

It gives you scenarios and also the translation in English. I know a little Spanish and from what I know I can tell the translations make sense.

I like that it asks you the level of Spanish you already know and it goes right at it, and you can change it later on if you find it to easy or to hard.

I wish there was an indicator or something to tell me I had to swipe to see more lessons. After I entered my level of Spanish, I was presented with a lesson then I realized you could swipe and see other lessons; wish I knew that first.

You have the option to turn off feedback request after every lesson and this is amazing!! You can also set daily reminders

    Overall, great app!
  • great app for learning spanish!!

I already know so much Spanish, however this app helped me get better. I like how it teaches you conversational Spanish so you know how to speak Spanish in the real world. It’s also very helpful how there’s a microphone feature so that you can directly speak back and it tells you if you’re speaking right.
  • A great app with a lot of potential

I tried JumpSpeak not too long ago as I was traveling in Ecuador and encountering real natives. I was so nervous to speak and sound so foreign (or that they just wouldn’t understand me), that I wanted to get speaking practice for Spanish (not just vocabulary and writing). That’s why I gave this app a shot. This app was really awesome in helping me fix my accent, introduce me to natural conversations I’ll likely have, and I really liked how it got me excited instead of scared of speaking to people in Spanish. I started to not only get better, but also look forward to the lessons (that are really relevant to the times like Netflix and chill or shopping online, etc) and start thinking in Spanish, which is really important!! The only thing I didn’t like was sometimes when I tried to repeat a word I messed up, it would move on before I got to. To add, maybe it’s my phone (IPhone 6), but it sometimes can run a bit slow at times! All in all, I really like this app and the team keeps improving it and listening to its users. I think this has real potential and I’m excited to see future updates!
  • Great conversation aide, but I want more!

I’ve been using this to practice my conversation skills. I’m no longer messaging back and forth with native speakers in my target language and that’s exactly what this app mimics. I really like this approach and I hope they continue to make more conversations available, because I think I will be finished soon.

I know they recently made some changes. I’ve noticed that the audio recognition is not as sensitive to correct pronunciation anymore, but I actually appreciated that.
