  • Not so good for me

    Local sales office where my insurance sent me was discusting, so I have never returned. Yesterday, my wife took delivery of hers at an office 35 miles away and had a very positive experience. However, she has app options that I do not have access to. I called TruHearing support for help and reached an unrelated foreign receptionist that was unable to reach “the company”. Useless, so I will have to make an appointment elsewhere. Not how it should work at all.

  • Music

    I’m a member of a concert band , swing band and have a sax ensemble that rehearses at my home. When at rehearsal with concert and swing band I can turn up the volume when the Director’s have something to say about a certain passage of the music and direction where they want to start or go over. When we start playing again I quickly close off the volume and have my hearing aids on music. So far I’m getting use to them and amazine how much better I can hearing conversation that are spoken Thank you. Dennis Bear 🐻

  • Could It Be Better?

    I think the app has some pretty good features attached to it. I would have given it a 5 ⭐️ review but (for me) I am having trouble understanding what is said electronically.
    For instance, if someone is speaking over an intercom system, like at a school or an airport, it comes out very unintelligible for me.
    Also, our church’s PA system (which was just recently replaced with a state of the art new one) comes out about the same way. We were having a meeting the other night and people from the congregation could speak if they would wait for a microphone to speak into. A gentleman was sitting 2 rows behind us and I clearly heard him say he wanted to speak and would wait for the mic. But, when he started talking it was not clear at all. My wife said she understood him fine🫤.
    This morning, I asked Alexa to play a song. I was having trouble understanding the words so I went over and stood in front of the Google Echo speaker and still had trouble understanding the words.
    I realize all 3 of these events are random events and anything could be wrong with where I’m sitting, the enunciation of the words, the voices themselves or a plethora of other variables that always plague our listening experience and environment.
    My question is: Would it be possible to add an equalizer to the app so we could adjust the sound at the particular moment and according to the external environments we find ourselves in?
