Disappointed
Went with Grilla cause it’s HQ is down the street from my house. Didn’t realize it’s just remarketed Chinese hardware with less than impressive software. I don’t think I’ll be buying another Grilla product.It’s fine?
For the purposes of this app, I would say it works fine with the hardware and makes adjusting things on the fly easy. BUT I do find it kind of ridiculous that I have to log back in as much as I do just to use my smoker. The only connection issues I ever had were because of my ISP router and the fact that it wouldn’t have a dedicated 2.4 GHz connection which is information that was harder to find than you would think on grillas websiteProbe inconsistent w/ update Dec. 23
Since I’ve updated the app if often has to take time to reestablish a connection and the probe does not seem to hold/read the temp. like before. Never had trouble before. Review would have been a five until this update.Terrible Update
I loved the app and layout prior to this latest update, I found it extremely easy to use and user friendly. Now I have to log into my account every time I open the account.Not receiving any notifications
The app appears not to be fully functional. I can adjust temperature set time and temperature. I receive no notifications. App will not save location. I have reset controller, removed app reinstalled app, deleted account reinstalled account.New update is worse
The new update has created issues connecting to the grill. Layout to me is not as nice and previous. Would be nice to have cook times/ temp through a cool.New app worse than the old
The new app not only is less intuitive, it also seems to have a harder time maintaining connection to my grill. Thankfully, there is still the old fashioned manual controls.Worked fine before update

Like many reviews, the thermometer is way off. If I’d had known this problem before hand I would bought a reqtec. I do have other thermometers to get by but that’s not the point- so don’t bring it up. If you sell a product that’s supposed to be accurate just make it that way. Next it’s the new app update. Well all that opens is a black blank screen, yeah that’s great. Hope this company figures it out because word of mouth is still the best referral program for it against a product.
I will say this, I have the silverback and the front shelf is a must have. The grill should just include it.Worst app I’ve seen in a long time.
I downloaded this app when I got my wifi control board. The app routinely crashes, goes to a blank screen and worst of all won’t connect to my grill at all. When I called customer service I was told they would look into it and call me back in 1-2 days… that was about 3 months ago and no call.
