  • It used to be good, after I updated it the speeds are so slow

I used this app for speed reading pdfs, the speed used to go up to extremely fast, now the speed at 100% is so slow. Wish I never updated it.

  • Poorly made, terrible app

Do not waste your money on this app. I’m a college student, so I have a ton of readings to do daily. I bought this thinking it would ease the process. Nope! It reads well enough, but I spend enough time trying to get it to scroll that it ends up not saving me time at all. If you plan to use this app to highlight and make annotations while also listening then know it freezes for no reason constantly making it really difficult to make annotations. I use this on my MacBook. And only on my MacBook. Garbage app.

Can you please let me know what type of phone you have and what iOS version you’re running? Please email contact@weboutloud.io. I suspect you’ve run into an iCloud sync issue affecting older devices. There is an option in settings to disable iCloud sync. I am interested to know if you disable iCloud sync if the freezing stops. Please email me.
  • This app is not user friendly

I tried this app on my mac and so far all I have been able to do is select the reading voice and when I try to have it read a document I press the play and it makes a beep and not another sound. Total waste of my time and effort. I am spending more time trying to figure it out and get it to work than accomplishing a task.

  • doesnt work well for someone with physical disability.

Every five minutes of listening to this app transcribe, I half to try and manually use my computer in order to correct the speech mistakes it makes, because each time it turns a page, instead of continuing onto the next paragraph, it starts reciting the copyright material printed on the sides. I can't even find where to subscribe for a premium subscription, if you are temporarily or permanently disabled, don't get this app it's trash and will waste more time and causing more pai than if you actually tried reading materials yourself.

  • Great app

Great app, but I wish there is a one-time purchase than subscription.
  • its so crapy

it gives you a really bad voice and makes you pay for a regular voice

Please email contact@weboutloid.io and please attach any PDFs that have errors along with a description of the error. We will look into it and fix it if possible. We continue to make improvements to the app and fix any bugs as soon as we’re made aware of them
  • Wont let me use premium service

I signed up for the free trial - completely willing to pay for an actual subscription - but was unable to use the premium voices. each time I tried, it asked me to sign in with my apple ID but stating the password was incorrect when it wasn't. Utter waste of time!

    Developer Response

Hello. On Mac you must use the password for your Mac, not your Apple ID. Sorry that was not clear. We will improved that
  • went from 5 stars to 1 star overnigt

why did they force you to turn over all of your data to the icloud even after paying the app no longer honors the premium subscription and disabled premium voices. our data is not for free and you certainly cannot strong arm us into giving it to you. will never patron this company again until they reverse their perverted privacy invasion policy

  • Good free app

This app helps me stay on track when reading textbooks. Wish the free version had more voice options. Broke collage student just trying to keep up with the weekly readings
