Description of AudioKey 2

The AudioKey 2 mobile app from MED-EL can be used as a remote control for supported MED-EL audio processors which are SONNET (EAS), SONNET 2 (EAS), and RONDO 3. Additionally, AudioKey 2 lets you customize personal settings, such as the names of programs on the audio processors. AudioKey 2 can be used by caregivers to support other users, such as young children. You can use the Find My Processor functionality to help locate lost or misplaced audio processors. AudioKey 2 also lets you check the usage statistics of the connected audio processors and quickly access helpful support material from MED-EL. If you own a MED-EL AudioStream device, you can configure it with AudioKey 2.

Still pairing issues with Audiokey 2.0
The app is still very 50/50 if it will pair to stream music or not. Have to go through the configuration process over and over. Irritating.

Also, why doesn’t the app allow the user to mute environmental noise when streaming music? I think an early version of the app did so. Why did was that feature removed?

Unfortunately, due to hardware limitations, the SONNET 2 battery status cannot be displayed in the AudioKey 2 app (this feature is currently only available for the RONDO 3 audio processor). However, we will consider your suggestion for improvement for the future development of our app and our audio processors. Kinda works
I use both rondo 3 and sonnet devices. I can add them both in this app, but I can only change programs on whichever device was added to the app last. In order to modify the first device, I have to remove the second device. No small feat as it often takes several attempts to connect a new device. Spend some money and work on improving the app!

Dear 'carrboropaul', thanks for your review. You can switch in between processors of the same ear side without removing any of them from the app. Please open the 'User Profile' in the app, tap on the 'three-dot' menu in the upper right corner and select 'Switch audio processor'. Now, simply select the processor you would like to use and tap on 'Save'. Once this is done, the 'Listening Settings' will connect to the selected processor and allow you to control it.
